That was very cleaver. Seven of the octopus tentacles each contain something similar to a brain, to help the octopus coordinate. (The eighth tentacle is actually a reproductive organ, and I'm not sure about it's anatomy.) The food theme was also very cleaver, since the octopus tastes with the suction cups on it's tentacles, which means it's conceivable that one tentacle could have a different preference in food from the rest.
