Dewhurst Color Change, interesting. Manhattan Generics are the worst, in my fictional country, New Liftland, They are SO crap, many places have had them replaced already.
Manhattan Lifts(fictional company) started in 2014 to install MRL traction elevators with Arkel controllers like the elevator in this animation. The hydraulic elevators are still these crap elevators with dewhurst.
In my animations I put bit of a longer history to their name. I like making up the history of lift companies. They didn't start installing in Elevation city until 2014, but have been in new Liftland since 2004. Manhattan went bankrupt in 2008, and were later revived in late 2013, by a new owner. the newer Manhattan lifts are better but they are still crap generics.
