@@michaelandreipalon359 definitively no. Not only was the class not even fully conceived of yet, the yards and scientists that developed it were never in territory connected to Zsinj being only Kuat and Byss respectively.
Beyond the tech, creativity and accuracy of the video itself, special kudos for the chuckle of "speaking to the manager" secondary ship responsiblity...
This is so awesome! Your skills are great. Also “mon karen- which also calls the manager” LOL Edit: also, you, eckhartsladder, and the templin institute are the reason I’m writing my sci-fi setting, and the reason it’s so detailed!
It would be awesome to see the Hapan Fleet! Seeing some of these Legends battles visually is something I've wanted to see for years. Keep up the great work!
I wonder what the fleet would have looked like if they had settled on the ("correct") length of the Executor being 19km rather than 8km long, which was the going rate for an SSD back in the day.
I mean a lot of the times Iron Fist flees it can be seen as Zsinj's doctrine not to fight on any battlefield but the one he chooses isn't about the strength of his ship as explained in Solo Command the logic is that if the enemy wants to fight in any particular area, it is because it favors them, they have potentially hidden assets or reasons that make them confident enough to fight there. Zsinj always tried to deny that to any of his opponents, picking and choosing his battles because with his hidden support network he could afford to cede territory and not lose any real productivity and come back later. This made him run circles around Ackbar when that admiral was originally tasked with dealing with him and he was doing the same to Rogriss and Solo until the Wraiths found his network and both Petothal and Gast betrayed Zsinj and turned over information as well as sabotaging him.
@@grandadmiralzaarin4962 And when Zsinj decided on combat he used overwhelming force. He had something like twenty capital ships along with Iron Fist to go against Solo's command. SSD's always seem to go in all sorts of configurations I always thought the going length was 12km but different books have different numbers I guess. Plus Zsinj is mistakenly shown to have one of the Emperors experimental Dreadnoughts in one telling of the books.
Yep, Ession is where they ambushed Trigit and killed his Star Destroyer. So when Night Caller was commissioned as a NR ship she took the name of one of their biggest battles.
This was awesome! I feel like you put so much effort into the lore - which is amazing. Hell, I'd watch these even for less lore-heavy videos. For example - the ultimate pirate fleet from your perspective. Or what an Imperial planetary bombardment fleet might look like
well that's just weird: two of the fighter squadrons mentioned as being part of this fleet, corsair and gauntlet, I had already chose as the names for two of the fighter squadrons in my head canon fleet, corsair as an X-wing squad and Gauntlet as a Y-wing unit, without previously knowing about this fleet. I also had 3 other squadrons, and A-wing and ARC-170 unit known as Beacon squadron, a Z-95 Headhunter squadron called Lance, and a transport/gunship squadron called Baserunner.
I really do like your CGI skills being shown here. Speaking of improving your skills, I wonder if it will be possible to program explosions and battle damage during your battle animations?
I think the Different color Lasers work like tracer rounds on rifles. It helps show were shots are going and who's firing them. If everyone was firing the same color it could lead to some friendly fire incidents, but that's just my opinion it could be they just wanted to look cool.
I want to do some After Effects cards that I can place on the screen near the ships with extra info like those, but I'm trying not to overload myself on stuff to learn and improve all at once.
Impressiv the visuals as well as the break down. I love the mon remonda design but i think the ship is way overpowered in the books, considering she take on a issd without beeing in the same weight class.
Tbh something that I don’t like about legends is how everyone got flagships. Like how on earth is Han qualified to lead his own fleet with zero military training just because he’s a main character
The way EaW renders stuff is very different from how you can render stuff in Blender, so it's not that simple. Blender renders will basically always have much better lighting options than EaW allows for. Once we've gone through and adjusted the environments to account for planets not needing to be as blown out, differences between light and dark should be easier to tell.
Come October, or from March 29th to April 4th, Ugly Starfighters, including your own original ugly… Otherwise, I’d love to see Star Wars Transformers in an Empire at War mod, but use Robotech’s three modes & such…
