So to create an animated progress bar in After Effects you don't need to add many keyframes. Actually, you can create this without adding any keyframes but only one slider and pick whip everything to it.
With a few small tweaks to existing expressions, you will have full control over the whole progress bar including a moving percentage number without one single keyframe!
