Well the song also gives most of the context and you can imagine what the dialogues would be cuz of that. But I do agree that the art itself also speaks itself a lot too

lemon trees are beautiful, and i have a memory with them too. When i was 3, i've always wanted a fruit garden, and as we were making lemon juice in the backyard, my dad had the crazy idea to plant a lemon tree. 10 years later, we sold the house to move closer to my high school, but when the family drives somewhere different and we pass by the house, we always see the lemon tree leaves and fruits grow so tall, we see them over the fence. thanks dad!
This was so touching, when he was in the hospital I CRIED MY HEART OUT. Other than the heartwarming story, the art style is really good and fits cavetown's music very well

@@a.w.4708I personally think they’re romanticly attracted to each other by the way they look ay one another obviously doesnt mean tgat they are but there was no info on their relationship so its not bad to assume them to be together if it was it would be judt as bad to assume them to be just friends

I cannot express how amazing this is, truely a masterpeice. Cavetown is my favourite artist and Lemon Boy is also in my top favourite songs! I also love how the animation fits perfectly with the song in the background. I also liked the small details, how the gaurdain of the green-haired boy approved lemon boy and also consoled green-haired boy at the beach when lemon boy was at the hospital. When the two boys reunitied I was so happy! The photographs at the end almost gave me a noglastic feeling for some reason. This is such an amazing animation displaying friendship. Thank you for making my day.

i’ve never commented but i come back to this animatic ALL OF THE TIME. your art style is BEAUTIFUL and motivates me to make more art. this animatic made me so emotionally attached to the characters in a way that I can envision their story and relationship just by how you drew them with such character and charisma. it creates such a strong bond between the characters making me feel even more attached and like i understand their story. I just finished watching all of your videos starting and ending with this one and your visual storytelling is just so good. I don't understand the songs for most of them but you're so good at getting it across with your art. This one is my favorite though, I've always wanted to see or make a literal animatic of Lemon Boy and this is so perfect and beautiful and words can't describe, made me cry lol amazing work also love the Grandpa's little smile hints at the end ;)
