AHHHHHH, THIS MIGHT BE MY FAVORITE ONE YET I LOVE IT! You make everything so fluid and smooth and put a unique spin on the songs that you wouldn't typically expect. Also, Aragon's expressions on this ARE PERFECT, they display so much emotion! I also love the small details like the "Where's Lizzy?" at 'daughters are so easy to forget'. Btw ARAGON WITH GLASSES, I just really like that touch and overall I think this animatic is amazing! 💛
I love that you never put Henry in your animatics, it emphasizes that it’s about the queens and not that asshole (Also the little single ladies dance 👏👏👏)
I’ve seen a lot of animatics for these Six music numbers lately. But these are all my favorite. They beautiful. They’re elaborate in their simplicity. And I love the dance routines

I went and saw SIX when it opened for previews on Broadway. Ended up seeing Toby (and Lucy) and got to talk to him for a minute. He asked what my name was and when I told him, he got excited a bit and went "Oh it's a lyric!" and that is one of the reasons why No Way is one of my favorite songs.
Only a few seconds in and this Catherine is coming for my spot as the best queen. But there’s n-n-n-n-no way I’ll pass her in the dance department. She’s got *MOVES.*
The art style is gorgeous, I have watched also many animatics for this show and I think this is my favorite. I loved the flamenco dance break - a reference to her being from Spain, right? Brilliant
All the animation in the cape is so smooth it just puts my artist mind at rest and I forget they stick limbs Edit: imagine walking in to a room and seeing this combination between the 80s and 1600s just yelling at a manequin

I love the creativity you put behind the characters actions between each other and just using the whole mannequin as prop was really inspiring. The beginning really sets up this wonderful video. I can’t wait to see more of your work.
Thank you! I had a professor that used the weirdest example for illustrating the importance of props. He'd tell the story of a buddy of his who animated one of the closing scenes of "open season" (🤣😂 remember that movie?) Anyway apparently the animator had to fight to give the dear character a stick to hold while he was talking. It was a simple prop but it elevated the scene because it gave the character something to emote with. He could point, gesture, scratch his back even. 😂🤣 it's on of my fav wierd stories and it rings true if you need to add some life to a scene add a prop, any prop, even a stick will work as long as the character has something to interact with.
Color/music synesthesia here, it’s the absolute best thing when the background of an animatic and color of animation perfectly match a song’s colors in my mind. This song ❤️😊 Also, this animatic is awesome! It literally gives off so much Catherine of Aragon energy, if that makes sense, hahaha!! :))

I mean- Considering this song is very basic In story telling (Like- with the others it’s quite easy to have something interesting happen on screen) you did very well ❤️❤️❤️
