Animations in Augmented Realty - Adobe Aero Tutorial

You can now use animated Gifs and PNG sequences in Adobe Aero to create cool augmented reality scenes. In this tutorial, we will use After Effects to create animated assets and then import them into Adobe Aero to set up a scene.

Yes, I got the gif to work twice when the announcement was made, but afterwards had issues. I've been using a PNG sequence.

nicely done! very informative but I don't understand what's the use of this if you only can scan through the app while others can't unless through the Adobe Aero is it possible to execute this and export to other platforms like WebAR or something other can scan through the regular camera ?

@@lillisky100 make sure you establish a good anchor. You can rescan the area to drop a new anchor. On the mobile app, in the top right you'll see 3 dots. From there go to anchor settings.

yes please!!! is there any possibility that you could somehow share this AR and have some complete stranger, walking trough that place and launching their Adobe Aero (Or whatever ap), see your AR? So, you opened aero in your phone. It was an Iphone? A beta test? Because I saw that there is no Aero app for Android. At least, yet. There is any for iphone? Or better: There is any way to open the aero file at any phone without the need to another app? A native mode, like an photo it is nowadays?!
