Animator vs. Animation V (official) 

It’s amazing how Alan can make an entire story with ZERO dialogue.

Not a single word spoken, yet somehow dialogue is created. This has to be one of the greatest short films ever made. EDIT: To all the people asking about “short film”. Normal movies are usually over 90 minutes. So yes, me, and many others would consider 30 minutes as a “short film”.

Never in a million years would I have thought that a fight between a stick figure and a mouse cursor could be so fun to watch.

If there's anything this series has taught us, it's that having a see through face means you're a god.

I love how much this series embodies the idea of creativity. Back when Alan created the Chosen One, he did so consciously and with clear purpose: a good animated fight. His origins can't be traced back to any intrinsic value found in the medium of animation, but to violence and combat. He was born in destruction, and thus became a *god* of destruction. But, at the very least, you can make the argument that The Chosen One exists for more than just fighting, as he eventually loses interest in and actively starts advocating against internet-wide conquest. Despite that hesitance, however, we don't see any instances of things *he* created in the 9 year timespan between AvA III and V. He doesn't create, nor does he take pleasure in destruction. He simply *is.* So, what happens when you create something whose only purpose is to destroy a destroyer? You get The Dark Lord. The Dark Lord *never* lost his original will. He *never* grew bored of the slaughter. If anything, he *optimized* it, polished it to a mirror sheen in the form of the ViraBots, and hoped to stomp the rest of the web into dust beneath his feet. He *did* contribute something in that 9 year span, yes... but only something he could use to further spread misery and decay. And then there's The Second Coming. Created by complete accident by Alan when he was just trying to animate an orange stick figure. The only one of the three who can directly draw his roots to a creative purpose. Not only that, but he's also the first stick figure who we see creating living animations. (The Victim made copies of himself, and TCO, alongside TDL, never used the draw tools or anything in the animation software for anything but weapons.) There is a very creative soul in TSC, with an imagination beyond anything any of the other stick figures are capable of, even if the full extent of that imagination is lost to him save when he is in dire need of it. So in the end, it's not The Chosen One who defeats the Empowered Dark Lord, or Red, Blue, Yellow and Green, who started existence absentmindedly fighting each other before TSC showed them what was beyond the webpage. It's The Second Coming. Born in creativity, with a love for the art of animation. The only thing that can defeat the purest of destroyers is the purest of creators. (Or I could just be overthinking all of this and Alan just wanted to draw cool stick figures fighting in very creative ways. :P)

I just noticed that it was 2018 when alan recorded his PC and it was 2020 when this legally cinematic RU-vid sensation that looks like it should be a movie was uploaded, wow.

The storytelling even without a single word spoken is just beyond incredible. And the part where Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue were being picked off and the body language just shows how heartbroken they are, it hits so hard. Truly a masterpiece of animation.

Orange stickman's first words 6 years ago were "You ended my friends. Now I will end you." Although he never displayed any OP powers, do you remember what he was originally called? That's right. _The Second Coming_

The stick figures jumping back into pencil is nice Much less graphic then them getting erased

Orange was called "The Second Coming" for a reason. It makes so much sense that Orange wasn't strong from the beginning like The Chosen One, the former didn't even know its identity, while the latter did. Then at the very end, when The Chosen One looks at Orange and realises without ever seeing its label that "this is my successor", and bows just like they did for it. Peak storytelling without a single face or voice.

It actually makes a lot of sense why TSC (aka. Orange) got such godlike powers. In the 4th official episode he wanted to ruin Alan's life because he deleted his friends, now he wanted to eliminate The Dark Lord because he deleted his friends. True friendship. Good job TSC

I can't imagine the time and energy that goes into making something like this. Not just the animation, but the backgrounds, the VFX, the sound design. It's all insane.

Hi it’s been a while since this video was made but I have a cool request that I would love to see! So I’ve watched this video loads and I’ve thought why don’t you make an alternate version of this episode where the chosen one and the second coming do the fusion dance from dragon ball Z and use that. It would be cool if there were more dragon ball references like super saiyan or kaioken. In future I would also love to see an animation and animator vs anime series where each episode they face a different anime but these are just some ideas for future but please make them happen and reply to this with what you think please

Когда я только это посмотрел у меня появилась теория что TSC получил силы антивируса. Я так подумал потому что 1: TSC единственный на моей памяти стикмен который сотрудничает со своим создателем. 2: Битва при которой проявились силы была против вируса который наносил вред компу создателя, и другим тоже. 3: Сила перестала действовать после нейтрализации вируса. Я не знаю насколько это бредовая теория, но был рад поделится!

This was so cool- like- an entire story!!!! and the animation was just epic. no ordinary person can do that. like a whole movie-type animation but with no literal dialogue. keep it up!!!

I just remember when i see this video for the first time. I See all your videos and i remember exactly when "The Chosen One" was created. Seeing him fighting the virabot is crazy! I was so happy that he still doing more videos. This is even better than an anime fight

THIS CRAP IS SO GOOD. I remember watching these as a kid, and recently saw a short about them. So i decided to go back and watch them again. And boy am i glad i did. The amount of time and effort put into these is just.....wow. And the fighting? You look like you animated on Dragon Ball!!!! I never would have imagined that an animator as good as you ever lived. Love your videos, keep workin hard.
