I am so goddamned happy to see this channel take off! I absolutely loved this. There were times I cried laughing, but overall you guys really cemented which shows I'm going to check out. I've been curious about Magus, glad to hear that it's as gorgeous as the promo. ....buuuuut I might still check out Black Clover because it sounds hilariously bad. Definitely gonna check out Inuyashiki and Garo as well. Considering MMO Junkie, and I'll probably watch a few minutes of Dies Irae just to laugh at it. I love the input and I LOVE this combination of opinions. I really think it's very well-balanced between Kirran, Scott, and Ben, given how varied you guys are in age, background, preferences, biases, etc.. I'm so excited to see how this changes as episodes come out and so happy to see the TFS brand expand even further.

Hbi2k was doing it for me and I need more Keiran in my life - I really am loving this show, you guys rule!

My new way to find new anime to watch

This turned out to be really good. I like the discussion aspect and hitting a lot of anime at once. It also has a talk show feel compared to the Saturday Morning Anime show review, but that is also good. I don't like many videos, but I want to support Bento, and I enjoyed the video most of all. #GetBento That's for you Kaiser

For your Cards about "Fuck" or "Kill", I would recommend getting it a bit bolder letters. It's hard to read. It's just a tiny complaint about that. Still, nice kind of video.

The shortfall of Juuni Taisen could be that it doesn't exactly hide what's gonna happen in future episodes. At least, it doesn't hide who's gonna win and in what order people will lose. Some might consider this a spoiler, but given the fact the the author knows the audience knowledge of the Zodiacs and given that the animators gave us the ED that they did, we know that Rat boy is gonna win just like the rat did in the original legend that determined the order of the Chinese Zodiac. I can thus no longer watch the show with the suspense of "Ooh, no one is safe!", because that part of the plot has already been spoiled for us and was likely never intended as a secret. That suspense is what kept me thrilled for 2 episodes until I noticed the pattern, and now I hope the show can survive without it. So far, it survives, but it's likely not a show I'll remember two seasons from now despite the fact that I only watch very few anime per season if any.

the way they describe the relationship between chise and elias from the the ancient magus bride is GROSSLY INACCURATE.

Awesome first episode to a great show. Excited for next week. However, I would recommend using on-screen graphics like having a poster of the anime that you guys are talking about appear. I had some difficulty following the conversation since I watched this while doing chores. Other than that, good jaaaab.

My main issue with Juni Taisen is that the ending theme gives away the God damn kill order

A weekly TFS anime podcast?? I didn't realize that the new show would be this awesome! It's a shame that Shoukoku no Altair (Altair: A Record of Battles) wasn't able to make it. It's not the most popular show around, but it's really cool, and has a unique setting and plot.

Recovery of an MMO Junkie I really liked that one not that I need validation of my tastes but I am just honestly interested in what you think about it.

I really enjoyed this. I was worried going in that it would be too scripted and stilted but was happy to be wrong. Everything was laid back and chill which I feel plays to TFS's strengths. Obviously there are a few first episode teething problems, the cards being unreadable being the big one (though I think I would prefer printed cards as the "fuck" and "kill" seem to be hand written), there was also Kirran's hair sticking out at the side which I just couldn't stop looking at, it was like a perfect loop that you could hang a small scarf or maybe a banana from. All in all I enjoyed this quite a bit and hope it continues on being relaxed and fun like this.

Awesome! I pretty much knew how Black Clover was gonna go and I haven't even watched it yet. My biggest problem with anime is I can never decide what to watch, yes I'm a little picky. Hope you guys don't mid if I use this show as a guide to plan my watch list.

You know it'd be awesome if you guys would put a simple bar or something that has show up while you are talking about the show. That way you can always see which show you are talking about.

I have a lot of the same cautious concerns about Ancient Magus Bride that you guys do. I'm really hoping it doesn't go down the wrong path here because I'm loving what it's doing so far but anime has definitely hurt me before in this regard. So far it's my favorite new anime of the season (Mr. Osomatsu is my favorite). I haven't checked out MMO Junkie but I keep hearing good things about it and after what you guys have said I think I gotta give it a try.

Would it be possible to add some sort of image with title in post (possibly at the bottom/top or something.) so we can see which anime you are talking about? As it sometimes became difficult to recall which one you were talking about at which point. Other than that, it's great to see new and different content. Keep up the good work!

Can confirm re: Black Clover. Asta's English voice is a million times more tolerable than his Japanese VA.

So far the only anime this season im watching are Juuni Taisen and Inuyashiki. Both of which got fucked. Clearly I am a man of culture ;-)

while Garo is darker then Kamen Rider usually, i wouldn't call Kamen Rider a series without merit as most seasons have really well written characters and can get pretty dark as well. yeah it's marketed towards a younger audience(teens i believe) but i think it's potentially enjoyable for people outside of that target.

Suggestion for rule change in the future. 1. Give them the option for the panel to decide a show is so bad that they didn't even watch three episodes. Maybe say they can only choose one show on the list to give the choice to but I feel bad you guys had to put up with 3 episodes of Dies Irie. 2. Maybe you can add more shows to the ones you are watching but with more being executed in the first round. There are some good shows you are missing and some ok ones that are at least better than some of the ones you watched. Being able to get rid of the really bad shows sooner might be better.

Also if they had added one more show this could have been the real juni taisen
