For the car one, I assumed they were people who would do anything for their friends. Iruma and Honda willingly do things to make sure the people they are for are happy. Subaru is self sacrificing to a fault. And Mustang did many things to help his friends. For example, he faked Maria Ross's death so she can escape, his entire revenge arc for Maes Hughes was based on avenging him, and he couldn't bring himself to tell Ed and AL about Maes Hughes's death because he realize he doesn't want to hurt them.
