If I ever managed to travel to Japan it is places like this I would love to eat. A place were locals go and not one made to trap Tourist but a place where you get authentic and good food.
What a wonderful look into the lives and daily routines of those who love cooking and serving their patrons. Such beautiful people! I happily subscribed.
All was excellent except that grill chicken at the end was too pink for me and wasn't really grill more like flame fire cause grill food is tender and soft that one didn't look done correctly to me
I lived in Japan for almos 7 years and the first time I ordered a chicken teriyaki burger, the chicken was pink. I asked them to cook it more but they looked at me weirdly. Usually in Japan, the customer eats what the cook/chef makes and don’t question his/her food. I learned that later 😂, and it’s rude to ask to alter the food in any way from their norm. I later learned that they don’t cook their meats like in other countries. The meats are very pink when you asked for grilled meat, and it’s normal. They say that the chicken is okay because the are vaccinated against salmonella, but I was not used to eating chicken or other meats rare or semi-pink. They eat it that way 😅, but if you become a faithful customer, they will change the food to your liking 😊.
@@MonicalovesTAEMIN thanks for letting I'm going to Japan next year so I will make sure I don't order anything to raw I'm going to ask them can they cut it open so if its to pink I will give it to my sister she eats that raw stuff
My heart breaks for the people who work and own these places. Are they used to being this overworked? At one point most tables were occupied and there was only one server. 😢
