1. Eileen Stevens: Stevens sounds sinister and very fitting. 2. Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld: It basically sounds like Cassandra but without the weird distortion. 3. Cassandra Lee Morris: I get that they were trying to go for a sinister and demon like take but the vocal filter takes away from her voice.
Rip Hiromi Tsuru. She did great as the female voice of Yubel. I didn't know eileen Stevens did Yubel in the movie though it sounds so different compared to Cassandra's. Cassandra was ok and Alyson wasn't too bad but i do find the voice slightly annoying
Yubel Sub: A heartbroken deranged/demented Yandere manipulated by YuGiOh GXs equivalent of the Devil willing to kill and exploit to get her beloved Judai back. Dub Yubel (Cassandra): A childish demon manipulated by a tainted light willing to hurt her former friends, best friends to get him all to herself and treats everything like a game.

Hiromi Tsuri and Eileen Stevens are my favourite voices for Yubel (despite my dislike of the character) Is it just me or does Eileen's voice for the character sound a little like Jennifer Hale?
I grew up on the bud so I will always love it, but I do prefer the sub more, mostly because in it Yubel has two voices. Oh and one thing I like about the dub is that they gave her a creepy theme! Wish I could listen to just that.
Cassandra is definitely my favorite. She really captured Yubel's personality perfectly and I never stopped loving her amazing performance, and there were times as a kid where I was amazed by the way she brought Yubel to life. Also considering that Yubel was her first major anime role, it's no wonder why Cassandra is such a childhood legend. Alyson is my second favorite. She has been doing a great job voicing Yubel just like Cassandra did. Though there were a few times she sounded a bit off, Alyson still managed to recreate the way Cassandra brought Yubel to life (even had some nostalgic vibes too with her performance). I think Yubel is another demonstration of Alyson's great range. Eileen's voice didn't really fit well. I mean, it was great to see Yubel having a different tone in her voice, but it didn't really fit with her personality (though a bit mature, she's still childish). Also the direction would've been better.
You know the perfect voice for the dub of Yubel is Grey Griffin since she voiced Azula I thought she would be a perfect balance her manipulation tactics and her insanity then her we can hear the snark and kindness in her voice too like in Holiday from Generator Rex Alyson is close to her but needs more direction Cassandra was scary with her childish voice but the mix of the voices lacked a bit of direction too Hiromi Tsuru was amazing as Yubel I loved every second of hearing it Eileen was great but she sounded like Jennifer Hale which is cool by the way
@@Keurgui1 The DL voice is still decent imo, partly because it's _just_ the voice and they didn't do that silly electronic processing they did in the 4Kids dub.
Cassandra played yubel the best in my opinion , Alyson .. sounds like Cassandra without the voice effect - the voice affect made yubel sound as they were meant to sound. Both male and female.
She looks like Doc.Octs twin sister :D bro she's my favorite. She has the sexiest voice for Yubel. I'm biust cus i like Yubel in DUEL LINKS. I like DUEL LINKS Yubel :3 (making a triple ex parody with her voice lines over Yubel 3D vids.) ^w^ ♡
The original English Yubel was the best , because it was creepy. The one from bonds beyond time just sounds like a British butler. And the duel links one just sounds like a child
Yugioh GX Dub voice was the best, it shows off the Androgynous Demon aspect and the past life of Yubel becoming this Androgynous Monster, more than they were before. You can swap Cassandra with anyone else and it would still be the best but her performance is also definitely what I loved.
Hiromi was perfect for Yubel!! God damn the english voices are horrible. 💀💀💀💀 Yup, every character in Japanese has the best voices in Yu-Gi-Oh!, yes Johan Andersen in japanese doesn't fit but his acting is great. In English EVERY voice horrible or bad, god damn even Johan has worst than the Japanese smh. 💀💀💀💀(except for marik, he has a kinda decent voice for Marik.)
I'd argue that The problem isn't really her acting. It's just that Cassandra's voice isn't a great match for the character and the ADR team tried to compensate by placing an excess of vocal disstortion to hide that.
The issue I wanna think is the dub wanted to potray Yubel is a micheavous childish villain given how she's portrayed in sub so 4Kids felt the need to tone down Yubel's yandere tendencies
