I’m going to Japan for the first time this year :) we live in New York. I want to cosplay so bad. Does anyone have any tips/suggestions? I was thinking of going as Misa Misa because I won’t have to wear a wig. Every cosplay in this video is super stunning

I think you've overdone it with the face filter. The skin is too smooth, unnaturally so, and the eyes look a bit weird as well. Not sure if also the shape of the face is altered in some instances.
