Not many 80s acts hold up well after 33 years - but as for Animotion, "they are an exception, they're my exception." They look and sound GREAT - and they are clearly continue to enjoy being on stage together. More power to them!
We are none of us what we were in 1985, and that includes everyone born after that year. They are still exceptional performers and deserve kindness, not cracks about age and weight.

I was nine years old in 1985 when this song and the original video came out on MTV which at the time only played music videos which was awesome. Sometimes some people just look better as they age and to me these two look better now than they did in 1985.
This is a brilliant song, and I am shaking my head at some of the mean and nasty comments posted in here. Why shouldn't older people be allowed to express their sexuality in performance? Look at Cher, Mick Jagger and Tina Turner for instance: they are well over 75 years old and they still have the X factor to them. Animotion might not have been in the same league as them hits wise, but kudos to them for getting up on stage and giving it all they've got 35 years later.
These two aged well. I was nine years old when their video first came out on MTV. Yes, they were always an attractive couple but they look better now then they did in 1985. Some people just look better as they age. Maybe they didn't eat enough protein in their diet in the 1980's or something. Some hollywood actors that are older are scary now and have aged poorly or have let themselves go. Then there is people like Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey. Both never looked better.

Interesting to hear them playing this live with real drums and everything. Above-average 80's pop song. I also like the ad lib when the guy realized he messed up the lyrics.
It's such a great song, even though not written by any of them. I loved it in 1984 and still love it now! It has a very tasteful blend of cheerful pop and some quite heavy guitar pieces. It's a pity they were sunk - even though they had such a lot of talent - by apparent record company decisions. This live performance is awesome, and if I may say so, 50 is the new 30, and they're proving it. Is that Don Kirkpatrick doing the outro solo? As I said, you could smuggle some fairly hefty guitar stuff into mid 80s chart music and get away with it. Best of times, music-wise!
The only nasty thing here are some of these comments, so if they get everything done they then will be allowed to be old and sexy on stage like shakira or jlo? Great song...still, but seeing Security standing there and a sterile audience made the viewing rather mundane. However...Annimotion did their part, and did it well!
How much scratch do you think these guys get for this performance?? I know some of these oldies shows pay a pretty penny . So do the state fairs & casinos. The county fairs not so much. $$ scarole
