Do you want to see how everything looks like at the last town of India at India-China border?
Welcome to the last episode of my #UnseenArunachal series? In this video, I am taking you all to Anini, an unchartered haven in Arunachal Pradesh. Anini is the headquarters of the Dibang Valley district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in Northeast India. This small underdeveloped town became a part of India in 1947. The place in still in the first stage of becoming a developing town due to its remoteness. Despite of being so remote, Anini still has basic road and air links to the rest of India. Anini is fully dependent on Roing, the nearest major settlement for its commercial needs. I have done a vlog on Roing as well and you can find the link to that episode below :).
Unlike Basar and Alo where we met Galo tribe and Pasighat where we explored the culture of Adi tribe, Anini is home to Idu Mishmi tribe. Idu Mishmi tribe is the sub-tribe of Mishmi tribe. if you ask me what did I experience in Anini, I will answer it in just one word "EVERYTHING". I hope you guys enjoy watching is this video as much as I loved shooting and editing this one. Needless to say, this is by far my best work :). My partner is posted in Anini since the last two to three years... I get so worried whenever he travels during summer because at that time the road condition becomes more risky due to heavy rainfall and landslides... Apart from that (although I have never visited Anini) but It truly is a very beautiful place..It’s a paradise on Earth..Lastly lots of love to you..❤️❤️

I'm from Nagaland and I was blessed to have visit Anini in 2020 January. In 2014, i went to Roing and i saw Anini hills from there, ever since then it was my dream to visit Anini once. Best Journey in my life and the place was amazing. Wont forget ever.

Hello Madam.. U have covered the entire part of Dambuen (Acheso) very well inspite of many restrictions.. The people in Acheso is very caring, polite and loving.. I have been there for a year.. With that kind of atmosphere.. U feel that we have added an extra year in life as compared to the fast life in metro cities.. The whole series of Arunachal is Awesome.. Loved it❤️..

Have been travelling to Arunachal Pradesh since a long time. In fact the whole of the Himalayan belt from Ladakh to Arunachal has so much to offer. My travels started way back in 1983 with Garhwal Himalayas and have done the entire Himalayas in patches both on foot and car. Its not possible to do the Himalayas in entirety in a single life time. I have been lucky to drive to Arunachal Pradesh more than 17 times and yet don't get over it. However beautiful photography one does, the photographs of the eye don't match that of the camera. The adrenalin rush as you cross the gorges and fast flowing streams , The silence of the snows and the only sound you hear of your heartbeat as you climb up glaciers are a few things which are felt and cannot be described . I travel without tour operators as it helps me discover places and gather experiences on my own and not tailored trips. Your efforts are very good. Keep it up. Best wishes for your future endeavours

Once i went trekking for 8 days indo-mynammar border.. No roads.. No communication.. Only army and villagers use to to in those places for seasonal hunting and patroling.. That river dri it gave me same feelings when i reach their.. The calmness of river .. The majestic mesmerizing valleys..less walk routes ...takes away all of your struggles, risk and pain you took to reach there..you suddenly feel light from all of your heavy burdens you kept inside..i can understand how it feels in a places where almost none have reach before... may be that's why adventure is addiction.

Not intend to act Mr. Know it all. But just little correction, if you don't mind and to correct it. As you have mention about dri river. The Dri river is in Dibang valley district but it don't share borders with Myanmar but with China. So it must be indo-china border not indo-myanmar borders.
