In 1986 Elektra Records released Anita Baker's "Rapture" album. It later went on to sell over 8 million copies worldwide (5m in the U.S. alone). Grammy Awards came for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and also "Sweet Love" won Best R&B Song.
