I love these monthly mixes but Amsterdam has to be the most overused track in the entire Anjuna catalog. It appears on too many compilations. I used to love it but now I'm over it.
@alphabetamusic7 yeah in all honesty I am not too keen on the Super8 & Tab remix. The vocals just don't sit right in my ear with the production. The Smith & Pledger remix is far superior imho
It still gets hammered by The Thrillseekers in his vinyl sets, but I'm not complaining. It's a bit tired to my ears too, but it just shows how the track's transcended and people still love it today.
agreed. the track itself is definitely nice, it just doesn't need to be shoehorned into a disproportionate amount of mixes/sets. I feel like I'm losing my mind hearing it over and over again lol.
