Lootera is gem of a movie but so underrated. When I told my friends that it's one of my most favourite movie of all times, they were like really, whyyy though??!??!?.But all i can say is that one needs to feel the essence of the movie, it's beauty, the imagination, the hope it gives, it's simplicity, the reality it shows us and so much more. It's like a fairytale with beautiful lullabies and makes me want to dream.Sonakshi and Ranveer made the story so much more beautiful.
Chef’s kiss, criminally underrated..whatever you call it.The film itself being an adaptation of O’Henry novel (The last leaf) is a creative and unique approach towards the legacy of art making. In an era of unpredictable trend following,Vikramaditya Motwane stands out due to his progressive projects. 🙌 No to mention the soundtrack by Amit Trivedi the genuis, which throws light on each sequence and fits the entire theme of scene portrayal.
Tear drops melt in my eyes ,a deep ache somewhere in my heart whenever I listen to this A hollowness in my mind Not getting exact words to express my thought
Those were the days.. Why don't they write and compose songs like these anymore? We audience back then didn't deserve 'Lootera'. Amazing movie with brilliant direction, music and acting. Whole Album is a treat to ears 😇
4:03-4:22 this music takes me to fresh hills and asimillates so many memories of my hometown in my mind. Absolutely beautiful. Amit Trivedi sir🙇 My complete adoration to you from Nepal🇳🇵
This song gives me both happiness and a lingering pain everytime...dont know why! Such simple yet powerful lyrics, soulful melody and a great voice to render it...just awesome!
I still wonder how come the second grade noisy songs get millions of views whereas such masterpieces remain drastically underrated! I had the fortune to watch this movie in theatre. I was speechless when I left the theatre! The finest love drama ever produced by Bollywood!
This movie deserved so much more but it got zero attention. I love this movie and i stilll think this is the best movie of Ranveer Singh and one of the best that has come out of Bollywood.. He has done some great work since this one but Lootera still takes the cake for me. There was a different calmness in his role. Also, Sonakshi did a great job and music , the music of this movie is everything. I remember when i watched this in the July of 2013, i was blown away by the sheer brilliance of this movie. Lootera has a special place in my heart.
Not many times does this happens to you that it gets hard to believe on what u have just heard is true or imagination. This song is undoubtedly too good to be true. I was and i am and I will always be awestruck with this song everytime I hear it. also bcoz I am big r d burman fan and even when I was listening it for the first time it immediately got connected to masoom and especially do naina aur ek kahani. This song is a remake of the classic do naina from masoom. The lyrics are closer to gulzar sahab style of writing. The music especially the guitar strokes r typical rd burman style. The parade background gives it a vintage appeal and the singing by lyricist himself amitabh bhattacharya is so good. Its a very detailed and thought implemented song. Normally classic is a term that evolves over a period of time to something which is ever popular and only gets better with time. But this song even though its new it has that classic appeal and for me it is nothing less than a classic. Hats off to amit trivedi for bringing such a fantastic song to us. Lootera album is undoubtedly and by far his best work and I wish we get to hear such albums more often, but than I feel how will that be possible. How can anything be better than this. The song had grown kn my nerves. Amazing amazing amazing !!! Absolutely delightful melodious !!
+rehan khan i like the way u noted the various elements in the song i admire the fact a listener must have that quality in them !!! a great appreciation to ur comment
Totally agreed but to some extent , lyrics style of writing remind me of Anand Bakshi as well , and when you mention R D Burman , music is of that flavour ..one of the best album by Amit trivedi I think !
No need of time machine.. This song can take us to past, future.. Any where.. ❤❤❤❤❤ Still I get the same feeling what I have got when I heard this song for the 1st time 7 years before..
This was a very underrated song ,,I first heard this on zoom ,it was played for about 1 min...and I was already in love with its melody!!!!and then started listening to it on a loop! Very surreal!😊
I used to use this song listening in Morning 4 o'clock in winter days with natural air breathe ,the pole light with windy snow ❄ some nostalgic feeling...😌😌
that awesome moment when music melds with life and becomes one with the being.... thank you Amit Trivedi and Amitabh Bhattacharya for givng us _Lootera_
Had never heard Amitabh Bhattacharya singing..the fact that he came to industry to become a singer is evident from this song..he seriously has nice and unique voice
Reminds me the time when my life changed during the release of this film n songs.. I fought the whole world literally to get my love married her when I was 22..never ever happened in my whole family marrying at this age or marrying while studyiing and finally I got her it's almost 7 years now and this song makes the memories fresh.. Still together n will be till end yeah we are still in our 20s sweetheart but feels like I know u from 100 years.. Can't even imagine life without you.. The hard times are gone and now you are Mrs Faraaz... From sitting below a passenger train's seat to meet you to be with u in business class tour. Love has never changed and this song have refreshed memories
I come here every once in a while to watch songs of this beautiful, one of the best ever Hindi movies ever made with one of the best ever music & background score. I have watched this movie more than a hundred times and all it's songs are in my most played list even after all these years. This movie is a true masterpiece. One for ages to come. ♥️
I still remember how all my roommates in first year (@BIT Sindri) were crazyly in love with this song . We used to sing this song all the tym. miss u guys...Rahul,Gautam,Rup,Rajat
Have been going back to this song whenever I am a bit down emotionally. There is this pain that is felt by the singer so deeply yet has a soothing happy touch to it. I don't know if i can correctly articulate my feelings it. Strangely never paid attention to the singer. Yes! Never. Just realised, it's Amitabh Bhattacharya. He is one of my favourite lyricists. Strangely my other favourites like Manmarjiyan and Iktara are also sung by him. Very happy to know!
Sonakshi u deserve to get n no. of movies u r getting... u prove to be one of the best actress in this period..Offcourse ranvir u have the energy nobody can compete wid

the starting music absolutely lets me feel blank about my past.. just no existence ever happened in my life!! i sometimes have tears in my eyes listening to just the starting music!
Happy Birthday Amit Trivediii Sir 🎉🎂 Thank you for all the music. Lootera will always be remembered for its incredible music. Ankahee enabled us to see how talented Amitabh Bhattacharya is as a singer. After all that was his goal when he arrived in Bombay. And again this song too deserves much wider reach. It's not talked about enough for how beautiful it is.
Such a refreshing song.. Every now and then, i listen to this masterpiece of Amit Trivedi. It takes me to those bygone days of love and unimaginable madness❤
