Thank you what out a dual Anker brick? which one 40W, 30W, 20W? Im looking to have ability to charge more than one device at a time. Apple Watch 6, iPhone 12 Pro max, iPad 2 pro
Thank you Ben. great video and thanks for the helpful info. Would shutting phone off do the same as turning off Bluetooth, wifi and what's etc.? Thanks for the links and discount code.
Just got the Anker IQ charger for my 12 pro max, does not heat up the device as long as I use the Anker cable, the Apple 18w quick charger surprisingly heats up the device, the Anker Nano and matching cable does not at all. Great charger for your IPhone 12 👍
Its really not surprising. You are pushing lots of current through a charging cable that wasn't made with that much in mind . Find a higher wattage apple cable and it will be the same as anker
Vladimir Vukadinovic original iphone cable cant handle high heat from your anker adaptor so it transfers the heat to your phone. Buy a thick anker cable, the newer models can handle heat well.
Thanks for the great vid man, I was super surprised your channel only has 16k subs! You produce some quality vids. I definitely see potential here so don't give up 💯
is the nano pro safer than power port 3 20w? cuz there is a 5$ diff in my area. the safety precautions is more detailed on the nano pro so kinda confused which one to gert, dont wanna damage my 13 pro
You can, but it doesn’t deliver enough power to charge the MBP while you’re actively using it. You can charge your MBP w it if you put it into sleep mode tho, or turn it off and plug it into this charger. I’d recommend the PowerPort III for your MBP over the Nano.
i can't recommend anker anymore.. i prefer apple charger. I have a anker nano powerport III after 4months ago the anker charger is charging on charging off
I'd get the Power Port III for the 2 simultaneous usb inputs. I'm not sure of the exact wattage when charging phones on the PPIII, but I believe it has smart tech inside to determine the best charging power per device.
All chargers will affect the battery over time, but slower chargers like the original Apple 5w block will preserve long term battery health better. Stuff like Anker will charge phones faster, but all fast chargers are notorious for depleting battery health faster than the slow ones. It’s a trade off.
I used an anker nano to charge my ipad 8th gen 2020 and it took over 4hrs to charge from 4% to 100%. Dont know why it took so long. Can u please do a test for charging an ipad using the anker nano. Thanks
Which one should i buy for my iPhone 12? Anker Nano Pro or Anker Powerport III? Is there a performance difference? And more important question which one should i buy PowerIQ or PD? Both available in Anker
All fast charging starts with minimum wattage available (5V and 1 to 3A depending on the generation of USB in the charger) and uses data wires in the cable to ask your device what modes of power delivery it can take If the device can't accept what the charger proposes, they use incompatible charging standards, or data wires are damaged, it'll just stay on slow/conventional charging. If the device and charger agree on a fast charging wattage, the charger starts getting a request to output that, until it's disconnected That's why all fast charges have muptiple output specs written on them
@@b3naqua omg your right thanks sorry for asking that question it’s just that nowadays people so worried about the iPhone battery health and I just got this 12 pro max and I’m in love with it and I’m tryna keep it 100% battery capacity so that’s why I asked sorry
@@b3naqua i notice the charging is slow when optimized was turned. I guess the 30 mins - 50% can only be achieved when you are turning off the optimized battery setting
Does the nano work as well with the cable apple provides? Im going yo get a 12 mini next month and am wondering if I should buy the anker cable as well.
20 watts won’t do anything for your battery life if you have a modern phone (iphone 8 and after). Iphone 12 for example offers a 20w capacity to charge anyways...
@@WarTitan888 the heat is decreasing battery life. My 12 pro max battery with 20 watt charger has 91% battery left after one year. My 11 pro max after 2 years has 88% left after 2 years of charge with 10 watt iPad charger. So it does make a difference .
Do u know If the anker PD 1 is the fastest charging block for my iPhone Xs? It’s bigger than the nano pd1 but their website offers the cable with it. I wonder why it’s bigger?
The iPhone will only take 18-20w, so getting a 30w charger is not going to make a difference as the iPhone will only take what it can. The apple 20w charger is $19, so it’s your choice.
