Got this today , just some specs that I wanted to know before I bought that I couldnt find anywhere. The unit is 585g's the battery is 5200mAh Bluetooth 4.2 Range up to 20m input 2A output 1A Charge time 4 - 6 hours
I’ve been watching vids about this speaker and yours is by far the best.. I’m 75.5% sure that I’d order this speaker.. (!) made me click “buy” last night. Waiting for its arrival now!
I brought a Soundcore 2 Boost for £39.99 today, can't wait until it arrives to I can hear it in person. Pricewise, looks like the Anker speakers offer the best value for money.
Purchase the Anker Soundcore 2 and the Anker Select. Accidentally gave the Soundcore 2 to my daughter. Big mistake. The Soundcore 2 sounds so much better. But just grabbed the Sony XB20. The Sony has now become my favorite. Anker really makes some good products though. The Anker boost you really can't miss.
You did a great job..... Very very informative and your review was perfect showing me like I was one of your friends and you just wanted us to know want was better and why... Thank you again
Any Idea on weight ? cant find the weight anywhere online not even their own website :/ This is the best review/comparison of ANY product on youtube thank you so much, picking one of these up in a month or so or you have sold me on it. I would love to see how it preforms outside tho as I would be buying mine for festivals and general camping/hiking im guessing the bass boost feature would be lost on outdoors without hard surfaces to resonate of?
Ay-Ay thank so much! No, I also don’t know how heavy it is but it’s not super light and not super heavy. I think that bass up is very helpful outdoors as you usually loose most bass outside but when bass up is enabled it might become better. The problem will be the treble and sound dispersion outdoors as it lacks a bit of treble.
No problem man you deserve it, its clear you put thought into what people really want out of a review not something filmed with a gopro and the onboard mic (like i have seen). how does it weigh compared to the soundcore 2 if you have them in front of you as thats 358 grams? also have you tested the battery cycle ?
Mario Bondanza Thank you:) In those kind of videos I only try to get a feel of how the speaker performs, in my quick comparisons I usually have more genres.
I just got mine 3 days ago. It switches out of the Bluetooth mode after around 6 hours, but the battery still has lots of charge on it. I have to charge it back up before Bluetooth works again. I wouldn't buy another one.
Hi, how much time does the battery lasts with the bass up feature turned on and at max volume? Anker claims that the battery lasts 12 hours, but in other videos I've seen that it lasts 7 hours. Thanks.
Currently being sold in the US at retailer Wal-Mart. Anker Soundcore select, (aka Soundcore 2), $49.99 us...And the Anker Soundcore boost is $99.99 US...About the same as the JBL Flip 4...No demo area kiosk yet... Yes, packaging looks nice....Looks improved from their 2 tier items on Amazon...Now open to the retail market....I guess no longer an Amazon exclusive....
The problem with the Soundcore Pro is the bass boost is always on, you can't turn it off. The treble sounds nicer though. Also, the Soundcore Pro's bass gets distorted much easier than the Boost does. Buy the Boost.
I bought recently sony xb 20 and the sound is amazing in low levels. I wonder how would that compare to anker boost? Also in high levels how would they compare? In the UK sony is currently cheaper than anker.
+Bogdan Boruch Maybe I’ll check out the Xb20 in the future as I’am really curious as to how it sounds. I think that it’ll be very comparable to the Anker and maybe even better and definitely clearer sounding for lower levels.
speaker Toni.. when are you going to upload your full review on Anker soundcore boost? Since the speaker has surpassed Flip 4 it become impossible to wait for your next video reviewing boost.😁 Eagerly waiting for your video.🙏☺️
I wonder if you used an EQ and shape the midrange a little better if the Soundcore Boost could be more refined against the Flip 4 for people wanting a little more clarity?
bear123 I think you can use a EQ for that. It's no physical problem like missing resolution but rather a tuning problem. So it can be easily fixed with an EQ.
This Eclipse is on my radar for sure. Once available in Canada I'm going to get one based on what I heard on your binural mics. I also want to hear either you or Oluv do the Tronsmart Element T2. I heard that one in some videos but its hard to tell on the other reviewers mics and it is so cheap it could be the $25 king! Its not going to be like the Eclipse but for the price could be interesting.
I think I still will love my Anker Boost for a long time to come even after I buy the Eclipse. The Boost can fit comfortably in my small EDC bag so this is also really impressive it is so small. I have an idea for a video topic for you, what is the most sound for the smallest size? I bet the Anker wins for bass output and full sound. The Beoplay P2 also wins but with much less bass and more bass distortion on some songs.
Omer Khan I still don't like the sound character but most other people do. For me the A1 is miles better especially when the Sony is not tuned with the EQ from the app. But that's just subjective.
Das einzige was die Anker nicht hat ist halt Ipx 7 das wäre perfekt. Trotzdem sehr guter Lautsprecher bin am überlegen ob ich mir den holen sollte fürs Laufen
Hello Speaker Toni Question questions or anyone who can help please , I am really interested in buy the Anker Soundcore with boost , I drive van and I want to listen to this as I am driving how far apart from ipad to Anker it said 66 ft how far is this if had iPad on seat and speaker on dash board in van will this work , Also my iPad has Bluetooth will this work and I have Runis with Bluetooth will it work please help
You could get the Soundcore Pro as it is more clear but it has other issues that make it unusable, mainly the passive radiators not being mirrored and it rattling.
Muhammad Fahmi Hasfi it isn't covered or unrefined at all. It's simply not as sharp sounding as the flip 4 for example. Just take a Charge 3 and this will sound much clearer.
