If you got static noise while on idle, you can try to fix it by doing firmware update. Anker is a bit weird, in some device revision, you need to reset the device in order to do firmware update. Every Firmware Update Bring its own frequency characteristics. Consider this before doing the firmware update, because you may not like the frequency characteristics, and it also will screw any custom equalizer you got if the frequency characteristics is different than the one you got before the update. DO NOT attempt to update or upgrade the firmware while the device is not plugged into the wall. Anker speaker have tendency to enter sleep mode after a few minutes if it's not plugged into the wall. And if it enter the sleep mode during firmware update, you WILL have a high chance of bricking and dooming your device into oblivion. for anker soundcore motion+ : power on the device, then press Bluetooth and volume + for 8 to 10 seconds. After that, the device will reboot itself. After the reboot, the new firmware update should be displayed in your soundcore app.
Yes, with my Soundcore Motion Plus I constantly heard a high frequency when there was no music playing. I thought it was unique and was on the box. I got Soundcore Boom 2 yesterday and it's the same here

Had a soundcore boost but had a defect and switched to flare 2, i like the flare 2 more but the boost had a little deeper bass if you doubled it again with software
men i tried the same it turns off because the overheating mechanism triggered, i read that putting this speakers on direct heat or playing on very high volume or doing both will reduce the sound quality or the life span of the speaker. mine still works the same but I'd avoid it because these are very beautiful speaker that kills even the bigger and more expensive one.
i think all speakers should avoid direct sunlight and playing at max volume, playing at max makes the speaker warm coz of the sound it delivers plus a 36 to 45°c heat oh its very bad imo

Hello. I just got mine and I hear that same white noise or static, but at low volumes and close to the speaker it sounds a bit louder than normal. I know white noise is natural in speakers, but I was wondering if that is the normal white noise level in an anker motion plus? since I have no other to compare
@@capitanlevi203 if the speaker is on and idle and not playing any audio, it's not normal to have static noise. I updated the firmware to the latest version, and the static noise was gone.
@@orbit1524 But it's normal to hear a slight static while playing if you put your ear to the side of the speaker. Only that in the anker I noticed that it was a little bigger than my small speakers. It must be because of the construction or power of this great speaker.

That hissing sound that you are hearing is the speakers in “idle” to word it simply. (Also yes, it does have a slight hissing sound when the speaker is turned on while no music or audio is being played regardless)

Are you using a speaker booster app to get the speakers to do that? I blew a brand new Anker Premium w/ speaker booster app. & I never want to use it again w/ Anker

i need help, i bought the anker soundcore motion + and i was very impressed until i played one song which had a lot of bass in the 60 - 70 hz frequency range and the back radiator started to rattle like crazy should i return the product , could you please find a frequency generator and play 65 hz at 70% volume and tell me if i really got a defective unit
@@martintehrani3900 i can tell motion+ bass is better than a desktop edifier speaker with a dedicated sub woofer, i have 2 motion+ i could tell its really a pleasure to listen it makes time faster and listen to music as my new hobby.
Wasted space... if you got the room and clearly they do have the room why not just fit in another sub, instead of the passive sub. I can see having 2 passive subs on the outside like JBL has. This is why JBL still has the upper hand on the speaker business.
