I love that it's shown that his favorite use of the ankh shield was simply just to get rid of the chilled debuff. That has to be the single most obscure immunity provided by the ankh shield.
@@andrecosta9552 ok, time to farm fifty sharks for the helmet, one-hundred jellyfish for the jellyfish necklace, find another pair of ice skates, and dig up one of my pairs of flippers from my old chests. I honestly had more trouble getting this item than the shield, 'cause I tended to get most the ingredients just on my way. I'm a big collector though, it's all worth it.
@@animeking1357 i feel like the best time to play would be while its still 1.3. I doubt that a lot of good mods will update to 1.4 when it does update.
The Nazar part was completely wrong in my case, I had multiple of them before even knowing about the Anxn Shield, overall the item that took me the longest to collect was Armor Polish.
i got a nazar in pre-hardmode while farming in the dunegon for bones, almost threw it out, gladly, i often check the Guide when i see a new item The Guide is useful, guys >:(
The blindfold was the hardest for me since there’s always a sandstorm which equals harder mobs so I had to build up to avoid them while grappling to stay in place and waiting for dark mummy’s to appear on the screen
zekrom235 you need the ankh shield to craft the Asgard’s Valor, which then later crafts into the Asgardian Aegis, extremely useful accessories. I have not played a single game of Calamity in which I have not used these items.
My farming adventures: -I have found more jungle keys then bezoars. -The first Enchanted Sword I killed dropped the Blade Staff. -Every foray in the dungeon fills my inventory with Nazaars. -I am convinced that the rod of discord is a mythical item that actually doesn't exist (24 hours of semi-afk farming, I am full of hallowed keys and Blade Staves).
Grim Hood the rod of discord recipe was horrible tho (5 chaos fish) I simply used a mod I made that makes elementals drop materials to craft the set, and I ended up getting the rod anyways
I was very lucky on expert mode to get all the ingredients in a couple days (I only played expert mode because master mode was a little too hard for me)
@@Mointuspointus id use shield of cthulhu if it didn't make dashs bad i like the ability to dash through an enemy with that i hit them then get a real fast death ya feel me
Anyone else think that they should add the mirror to the recipe as well? It could pair with the blindfold, and be some sort of “anti-Medusa kit”. Plus, I believe it’s the only status immunity accessory that’s not a component of the ankh shield.
it is now, with the blindfold, the reflective shades, and the hand warmer isn't part also, but you're immune with the shield anyway, because the hand warmer is from presents, so it's seasonal, quite difficult.
This reminded me of when I farmed on mobile for it. It took me A MONTH to get the stuff. And you know what my brother did on pc? He took it out of builder’s workshop and said he earned it. WE WEREN’T EVEN IN HARD MODE I’m pissed.
i feel like nobody goes to the dungeon for longer than 0.3 seconds to get cobalt shield, because pre-hm skulls drop nazars so often, you just need to wait for the things to spawn
Lmfao good one with the Nazar 💀 For me it was the adhesive bandage. Its always those damn werewolves who wouldnt give me what I wanted. The Nazar would almost always drop whenever I grind for them in the first 10-15 minutes.
It's quite funny seeing somebody else is grinding these damn cursed skulls for that nazar thing when when I was seaching the whole dungeon they had dropped me like 5 of these. And now I'm really proud of my self cause I saved one for advance XD
Dead right on the Nazar. Took me 3 days of literally using hours to find it. About 200 heads before it dropped. I killed ONE MORE head and it dropped again...
I hate the stupid vitamins. In a corrupt world, the corrupters drop them, and they’re pretty common in comparison to the floaty grosses, where one spawns every 2 minutes.
It’s pretty much a joke between my friends that when we’re trying to get the ankh shield I always struggle on on part before it was the nazar but now it’s the vitamins
I spent almost 2 years trying to get the ankh shield on my ps4 world but the moment i switched i managed to get all of the stuff for it in one day and made a dang ankh shield. Praying to rngesus works
Everytime I think something's never gonna drop, it drops. But doesnt work with everything. Going on about 350 hornets/moss Hornets and haven't even touched a bezoar.
ok, this but the ones were you have to kill things, repeat them like 900 times, show the stick guy having a mental breakdown because of his terrible rng, and then make him get all the things first try
