I love Laura’s enthusiasm for cat AFOs. I have cat AFOs in solid ankle, but when I got my hinged ones, they didn’t have cats. I got music notes instead.
I really enjoy all of your vlogs! GOD bless you all! I love you all so much! How is everyone? I love you all! I care about everything about you! Yeah it is fall finally!
I have an idea for those who have back problems or hip problems my syrup it says eaters dancing or skipping might help and for people who doesn’t have a lot of strength in their hands if you buy stressed balls that feels like sand or beads that help me a lot and also keep making good videos I’m learning a lot also all the kids are amazing also are the kids excited for Halloween.
Have you guys heard of BILLY shoes they work wonderful for people that have to wear AFO’S. they have one big zipper around the shoe that makes it easy. Love your video always. 😀♥️🇨🇦
Yay for cats! Lauralie makes my day with her constant smiles and cheerful attitude. Another helpful tip we were given is to remove the insoles from whatever shoes we buy. It makes the afo or smo fit more comfortably. Especially for wide, thick feet.
Target has adaptive shoes I think called Bobs or Billies. They zip closed. They may not be in larger sizes. Does She have a plan to become more independent putting her braces on with adult checking for proper placements so no skin breakdown occurs?
I have Spastic CP and used to wear AFOs like Laura's! One of my first sets had a horse print on the straps. Over time, I didn't need the support on my legs and got the ones that go up to the ankle. However, with my foot deformity and how mobile I am as an adult, those didn't help. Over the last three years I ended up needing additional surgical corrections and now just need custom-made inserts to support my feet only. I also do exercises for my feet and ankles to keep up the strength of the muscles. I've had my fair share of AFOs that changed as I grew up. I agree that it's frustrating sometimes finding shoes to fit AFOs, let alone good supportive shoes in general. Great video! 😊
