I was doing heel down and full leg for awhile. I recently set my tension from loose to pretty tight and stayed leaning back- I realized your heel doesn't raise much. I still have to work on control , but I'm glad the frustration is over. Your POV and how you told me its a combination of resting and lifting really made my couple month frustration end- thanks again man!
Glad I could help you end the frustration man! The best way to save energy, get power and control playing this technique is combining the right muscles for the best results. It almost translates to a "flat" foot technique but without the need of applying a static / twitching motion in your leg. Keep shredding! Cheers.
You're welcome! The spring tension can be set for your body weight by playing on three settings, loose, medium or max tension. If your body reacts better with any, stick to that setting for at least 2 weeks to get used to that tension. As far as "Pedal height" I assume you're referring to the footboard height? If so. You can set the height to the middle position. Not too high not too low and see how it works for you.
