Oh, so I see the Lazarus case was finally adapted for this show. Anyone who’s deep into crime content has at least heard of this case. That interrogation video will never get old.

Ok people. If your ex has moved on, killing their new partner or spouse will not make them want you back. 😅 I guarantee that. You’ll end up in jail with nothing alone. Your love interest isn’t gonna say Wow, you murdered someone I love, you must love me more and therefore you’re better… ok? That’ll help prevent a few of these situations from happening. Beating, stabbing, shooting, killing, kidnapping, threatening, stalking isn’t going to impress your ex into coming back. They’re going to be terrified just like the rest of earth of you. 😮😅

My father was adopted under questionable circumstances and he was born in 1945 and I've always wondered if he was taken by Georgia Tann. Unfortunately, my adopted grandparents died when I was young and I've never been able to find out anything. It's considered a closed adoption and they don't have to tell you anything, even after all these years.

You're probably forgetting that other law enforcement officials were not privy to the goings on in Stephanie's personal life. Why would a seasoned detective tell her fellow police officers that she had a friends-with-benefits relationship with the deceased's husband? Probably to avoid that very thing. Also, the cops didn't protect her or look the other way because they ended up arresting her after they took her DNA from the cup she drank from.

All very disturbing stories about evil , calculating women but the one I am very familiar with is the Stephanie Lazarus case. I 've watched many of her docos on RU-vid, her interrogation by the detectives is mind-blowing. She was a cop who really did believe she was above the law and could outsmart any detective, very scary. This doco doesn't mention that after Sherry was murdered, the husband still bonked Stephanie for a while until she eventually married another guy.

A condo usually only has neighbors on either sides. Maybe both neighbors weren’t there?? It’s not implausible that nobody heard anything

A friend of mine, who worked in construction, told me that condos are built with walls with interior space twice as thick as regular apartment walls, with a double thickness of insulation inside the walls, to make them soundproofed (at least partially soundproofed).

She was a cop herself. Calling the cops on a cop can be hit or miss. Especially with someone as manipulative as Lazarus.

@@suzyfarnham3165 I think what they meant to convey is that it is ironic that she died of uterine cancer, given what she did to all those families and the children she took.

I have some serious doubts that he ever fully broke up that relationship after getting married. According to this episode, they sort of just "fizzled out" after his wife was already dead. It seems they were still on "friendly" terms, even after Stephanie entered the house illegally and threatened his wife. You don't stay friends with someone who does that unless you're interested in receiving some "benefits". Maybe this gave the murderer a false hope that if only the wife was out of the picture, they could be together. I don't know for sure, this is the first time I hear about this case, just speculating, because what you said seems like a normal course of action anyone with clean conscience would have taken instead.

I don’t think people realize how much pathology is out there primarily because if you’re a decent person you expect others to share the same quality. My crazy pants “mother” who was a monster stalked me for decades after I severed ties with her completely. She absolutely was capable of killing me and the Risk Assessment Firm I hired really drove that reality home to me. (There were no stalking laws at the time.) People always think, “oh they wouldn’t go that far”-until they do.
