Anna Michońska-Stadnik - "Thematic and paradigm shift in second language research studies"

This lecture aims to provide description of selected alternations in themes and research methodologies in SLA in the last fifty years, to explain reasons behind them, to characterize main principles of research paradigms and, finally, to offer more detailed descriptions of selected data gathering tools in the most contemporary research. The aim is not to favour one method over another but to show in what ways all of them may coexist to support more thorough, valid and reliable research in SLA.
