With this comment I will probably bring some negative reactions but I found Netbrebko superficial and not “involved” in her interpretation which is closer to Rossini than to Pergolesi. Unlike Netbrebko, Pizzolato is "in" the music with a sumptuous legato which adds to the emotions of this Stabath Matter. In addition, she has a very good voice quality. The conductor is good but with occasional moments when he rushes the tempi for the accelerando parts, which is hard to understand why. With these rushed accelerando parts, singers sometimes barely have time to sing the notes when the slow parts are just the right tempo. Thank you for this video.
