This dance was the surprise of the night for me. After the emotion of last week it was wonderful to see Annabel and Johannes able to have fun and let loose with this dance. They have such a special connection, it's always a joy to watch them dance together. ❤️❤️
She finally let go and bought her personality into the dance! A very pleasant surprise and just nice to see her enjoying herself! Great effort at the samba and well deserved comments.
I love this partnership, he comes across like he is very humble and he is letting Annabel shine. She has done the best thing ever to ease her pain... You both get a ten from me
What a Samba that was. Jo-Jo's amazing choreography really does fit a Samba like this. I felt she was underscored as well. That wasn't worth a 7 but typical Craig. 8/10
I think Annabel has done so well in the competition and has made such progress. It's amazing that she has managed to do what she has under the tragic circumstances. I worry that she will miss it terribly when it's over as it has been a distraction for her. I lost my husband some years ago so feel for what she must be going through. I wish her all the best.
Annabel has improved so much each week. This dance could easily have gone wrong but all that she’s learned so far kept her strong. Looking forward to a quality ballroom dance in Blackpool.
Like doing handbrake turns in a Rolls Royce. Annabel has poise and elegance which are not much help dancing a samba. Full credit for pushing herself outside of her comfort zone ( again). I think she will live to dance another day and hope she gets a ballroom dance to do at Blackpool. Well done Annabel!
Score - *8/10* Wow! This was so much better than I expected, ok it's still abit placed and proper but wowwwwey she has turned the temperature this was equatorial, her confidence was shining, the spins and partnering is so much better, she has beatiful hands, good bounce in the voltas, I think the couples choice is what she needed and now she is 💯% commited to giving it her all. Great routine from Johannes, i feel Annabel is now at the standard i thought she would be at after seeing her Cha Cha and it's so lovely to watch this was very enjoyable 🥰
She surprised me! When I found out she was doing this I was like “...hmm, she’s gonna struggle a bit”, but she proved my thought completely wrong! After all she is much more of an elegant person. I thought she had lovely rotation and Samba walks or as Anton calls it the SAmba 😂. Yes I did notice a little bit of a like: “oop, ello what’s going on?” But she’s so great! She really is.
Apparently, this was worth the same points as Angela R's paso, according to Craig! If that paso was an 8, this samba was easily a 9, but I think, realistically, the paso was a 7, and this was an 8. I absolutely loved this and keep watching it! Why? Because Annabel is transforming before our very eyes - she is letting go and finding her inner self-expression on the dance floor, and the dance was full of samba content which she performed well, technically. Loved the intro at the hotel reception before the dance kicked off proper. The routine was a perfect match with the music the whole way through. Well done! I'm rooting for you - I love seeing this kind of progress and personal journey, and you so deserve this in your life after the tragedy of this year.
Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe with the Samba of Shakira song then she was stepping her feet to the California crack with Whosever, Whoever? Dianne and Joe will correct that Shakira tune when it comes. That energetic dance was allowed former truly let loose to have a good time on the dance floor and it was a scene of a hot sun when Shakira's Hips she shakes and their score was with one 7 and three 8s, 35 out of 40.....with.....
Strictly fans love to see MARKED improvement . Annabel and Jo jo did that beautiful dance last week and smashed it this week .. Glad to see them both go to Blackpool.

I say this in the best way possible, I feel Annabel is 5 years too late otherwise she'd be going for the final. She has all the basics nailed down and some lovely footwork but does look every so slightly lost at speed. Still I'd say 8.
yes, I can see that...but lack of speed isn't slowing Angela Rippon down. Annabel just needs a big shot of confidence and go for it more. It's not the age - it's more of a mental block I feel
Elegance in a samba is something i never thought id like but i DO WOW annabel!!!! So so so so precise which I LOVE But I do want some more sass like YES im elegant but I know I slay energy. Some parts could have definitely been sharper and sassier to mix it up a bit. 8
I think it should be Krishnan v Angela R, and Krishnan should leave. Though Krishnan is very popular, so I'm a bit scared that Angela S might be in dance-off danger instead.

@@gerardsloan1593 Krishnan’s personality is amazing. I want Angela Rippon to leave now as she’s already survived one bottom two now - if majority of the public don’t want to watch her, I think it’s fairest for her to leave now as Krishnan and Annabel’s improvement have been remarkable.

I thought it was a good dance, I'm from America and in the US version of this show DWTS, Lele Pons was recently eliminated after dancing to this song, and I don't know if it will be the same for Annabel
super, i like this :D, but i dont understand why they dont choose a song in a spanish or portuquese language, a song from there , look for ex in Romania we have this show call Dansez pentru tine and we dance in all kind of songs, spanish, italian, portuguese, english, french, grrek, turkey, we are very diverse, we listen also on radio all languages songs, we have a variety of songs that we hear and we have knowlege from each country at least we know some artits. BUt here i dont understand why is only english, i would like to see more diveristy in what in means music, that my ear can hear other beautuful languangues too, difeerent vibration, different energy...so samba is about samba, e samba....
I'm almost afraid to comment knowing Annabelle from a tennis background for decades and the tragic personal circumstances at this time. However, personal emotions have to be set aside as I review this Samba. Sorry but the Samba is not meant to be an elegant walk in the park. No matter how good her body, legs are the British aloofness, indeed almost coldness just doesn't work with the Samba. My daughter who was a one time Juvenile North American Latin champion years ago had the same problem of natural elegance which always interfered in optimal execution of Latin dances. Can't score high when you don't transmit the original feeling and purpose of this dance.
Next is Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe dancing the Samba. I do not what the judgers were seeing of Saturday night but it certainly wasn't the same dance I saw. Annabel had no energy and the dance felt a bit awaked, on a more positive note Annbel did have good bonce.
Really Craig, Angela Rippon the terrible and mediocre contestant is definitely not above this dance, that lady is getting a pass unfairly, get rid of Rippon the mediocre
