Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most beautiful and favoured hikes in Nepal. The trail is breathtakingly gorgeous and you come across the views of the Machapuchare and Annapurna South.
This is the complete narrative of how I did the Annapurna Base Camp trek in Nepal- my first-ever high-altitude trekking adventure.
My entire spendings on ABC were approx. NPR 18,000 (Pokhara to Pokhara), which reaches INR 11,500. The most profitable part was we did the entire trek without any support. So yes, going here solo or without a guide is possible.
Some details about the cost are given below -
1. Permits: ACAP and TIMS cards can be purchased in Kathmandu and Pokhra for NPR 1,600
2. Buses, Shared Jeeps and Private Taxi are available from Pokhara to Ghandruk
3. Food: One meal in the mountains costs around 600 NPR
4. Stay: Cost per bed ranges from 250 NPR to 500 NPR
