Destination: Annapurna Base Camp Trek: Takes you to the heart of the Annapurna massif, providing panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare, and other surrounding peaks.
Mardi Himal Trek: Offers views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare, Annapurna, and Hiunchuli but from a different perspective compared to the ABC Trek.
Altitude and Distance: Annapurna Base Camp Trek: Reaches a higher elevation, with the base camp situated at an altitude of 4,130 meters, and a round trip of the trek around 60km without poonhill side. Even trek ends at a lower altitude it's slightly tougher than the Mardi Himal trek due to lots of stairs with the up and downhill trek.
Mardi Himal Trek: Overnight place is only 3550m but can hike to, Mardi Himal base Camp, at around 4,500 meters. And round trip of the trek is about 40km and slightly easier than the Annapurna base camp.
Trek Duration: Annapurna Base Camp Trek: From Pokhara to pokhara takes around 5 to 6 days to complete without poonhill
Mardi Himal Trek: From Pokhara to Pokhara it also takes about 5 to 6 days to complete.
Crowds: Annapurna Base Camp Trek: More popular and tends to have a higher number of trekkers, especially during peak seasons.
Mardi Himal Trek: As the newly open trek crowd trek is increasing day by day as Mardi Trek also provides amazing views of the mountains and valleys.
