Someone I know vaguely went to do this trip and I already had the idea of doing a trek in the Himalayas for a longer time. Hadn't heard of the Annapurna area before I heard him talk about it. I went on to look up some info immediately thereafter. This is the first video I encountered and it immediately convinced me that this was going to be my destination! Needless to say it exceeded my expectations! Now that I've returned, I recognize almost every place I see here. Watching this gives me even more goosebumps than it did before I went there. I definetly fell in love with Nepal. Amazing editing, and although uncorrelated to the beauty of the landscape, the vocal and music on the background perfectly capture the feeling of serenity I experienced when walking there. Thank you for this!

This one lived up to the standard set by the teaser! Loved it! I actually went back this spring and did the trip again! Second time is different but equally great. You know what to expect but you still are amazed by the people, the surroundings, the tranquillity and all of the rest! Next year different area but again a big Hike! Keep it coming!

Any suggestions?! I'm planning on doing the Annapurna Circuit in April - first time long distance hike. For the best part it will be hot however at higher altitudes, and with the Himalayas being susceptible to snow / rain - I need an all round, waterproof shoe/boot. Also / I'm planning on heading out 14th coming back 30th - enough time?

Yup, you will definitely need good shoes, something waterproof in case of snow. In terms of timeline it looks fine, it should be more than enough. Have a good trip!

Thanks man - Which boots did you opt for / how long did you take? Any musts on the way / musts nots? (in terms of side treks/routes)

I think it was about 12 days, we had standard high boots from Decathlon, higher model but nothing fancy :) It's rather easy route, you just need to have some warm clothes, as during the night it may be cold. In terms of must sees you need to visit Tilicho Lake - it's extraordinary place. We may also recommend rafting in Pokhara distrtict, nice thing after walk. Beside that whole trek is a must :) Have a great trip mate!

Hi Michal, very nice trailer! I plan to hike the Annapurna Circuit next October and I had just a basic question: does it worth it to keep walking after Jomsom or better to end up the circuit there? Thanks a lot :)

Hi :) First of all thanks for your comment! We finished our trip in Muktinath (one village before Jomsom) and from my perspective it was a good idea. Way from Jomsom back to Pokhara is quite boring and may be waste of time. It's better to take a bus or jeep and spend some more days in Pokhara or do some rafting/canyoning in Pokhara area:) When you will be travelling from Jomsom you can stay one night in Tatopani and relax a little in hot springs with best chilli chicken in the world! Have a nice trip :)
