I think the lyrics of this song fit very well to the execution day of Anne. When I edit for this day it gets always very hard to face the inevitable pain, despair and heartbreak Anne had to suffer in her last days. But I couldn´t keep the sad and devastating focus on and I likewise wanted to show her love as a mother who was very aspiring considering the time in which she lived. Along with the insight of how Elizabeth used to keep connected to her Boleyn roots, while she could never openly and easily speak about them.
