Agreed! I was just thinking how perfect her teeth are ( lol a weird thing to notice, but I do) and it looks like she's wearing no make up at all, she's just that pretty!! That's beauty, and her personality makes her that much cuter!
Lol I tried explaining to my friend in New Zealand what an actual biscuit in America is sent him an entire picture and he was shookethed! Lmao I love American biscuits and English biscuits.. 😂
I was in Australia doing a home stay and they asked if I wanted biscuits while we watched a movie. Mentally I'm like who TF eats biscuits while watching movies. Then they pull out freaking chocolate chip cookies! YEAH I want Cookies!!😂
@Annease Phillips lmao yes. I said I had biscuits and gravy for breakfast and he lost his mind he's like who puts gravy on biscuits! Had to remember he's not American... different biscuit. But both are equally delicious 😋
Hah I'm kinda the opposite 😂 I'm American dating a Brit (long distance) and I've picked up so much random slang lmao. I stay using "fiver/tenner" 😅 or "wankered" when I'm drunk lol

Jumper = Jump as was Sailor slang called them(for short coats), original word is Jupe (even that is kind of slang term in Scottish English for same thing), nowhere is there an 'm' in any part of the word or its origins in any language, UK just made the word longer to Jumper, which does not mean Sweater at all, should be called Jersey, or Bunnyhug(if your Canadian or from Saskatchewan)
Let's be clear though.. the Brits call both American sweaters & American sweatshirts jumpers. In America a sweaterb& a sweatshirt are 2 completely different material/knits, style, purpose, etc.
Interesting, as a Brit I've never really thought about it. We do call both jumpers, but we sometimes say sweatshirt if we're specifically talking about them. I've never heard a British person say sweater though.
Hoover.....vacuum cleaner...When I lived in England I got in a 5 minute conversation when someone asked me for the Hoover....I was like, the President?!
😂 me, having learned british english at school and really learned to use the language with movies and music😅😅😅 this is a time travel "First of all" sounded so so different. Holiday is so much better than vacation!
