Anne Murray remembers meeting Jann Arden for the first time. “I invited Jann to come to my golf club to play golf with me once. She showed up at the golf club in jeans, a lumberjack shirt and boots. And of course they would not let her play golf looking like that, so I had to buy her a whole new outfit. And added to that, she frequently tells lies about me onstage,” she jokingly said while inducting Jann Arden into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

From the east to the west, north and southern parts of our nation we have so much talent that is true, but we have some genuine good humane beings too. No wonder Ms. Murray presented Jann Arden into this year's company of some very unique Canadians. Quite a moment for both I imagine.

I have seen both Anne and Jann in concert several times each and what wonderful concerts they were! Both are witty on stage, especially Jann, as Anne just stated...I've heard some of those lies on stage that Jann has "frequently" told about Anne...hilarious stuff, but all in good fun between two very good friends. I've met Anne twice and Jann once and they are so great to their fans. I have photos with them and autographs, which I'll treasure always. Two great singers-music performers & Canadian legends, who are also great humanitarians! : )

Wow miss Murray how you doing..I've been growing up my mom listening to your music ...you are such a music icon that I'll never forget ..I still have the sound of your voice singing into my ears it's fresh in my memory like it was yesterday. Thank you so much for the memories you have created since my childhood. You are beautiful as always and a great wonderful singer . You are lucky to know Jann I have discover this so great singer few years ago and wish I had before . She is an amazing women so real so true in her song.. she also have an amazing voice a super talent as a comedian wish I can meet her up one day ... I am wishing you both long life ...health and happiness..may Gob bless you both wonderful ladies 🙏👍🥰

What a horrific insult to the very concept of love and beauty, let alone of art in any form. To be courted by mendacious fiends to sell a destructive, fraudulent, extortionistic process of destruction to the dignity and decency of anyone who listens to you.
