When I first heard Dinu Lipatti, decades ago, I heard love expressed in music. Anne Queffélec cradles these pieces in her heart, in her spirit. It's one of the privileges of a lifetime to hear such a soul expressing itself at the keyboard.

She believes in it. Fantastic. She's not only playing, she's praying. This is the key in Bach. As the master Joao Carlos Martins said... Bach, with only two sounds in each hand, can build a cathedral.

It was Bach himself who once said something like this: "my compositions may be played in any instrument that suits better your needs" and this particular one I prefer it on piano, by Queffélec, who knows and feels exactly the spirit of this masterpiece. Thank you so much for sharing it, I truly loved it.

Bonsoir Jean Luc Chapelon, j'ai eu la chance de prendre 1 semaine de cour avec Anne. C'était en juillet 2019 dans un petit village icaunais. Malheureusement pour moi, j'étais trop peu assidu pour assister aux cours des autres participants à cause d'une maladie psy.

well ,i was tempted to dis ,but didn't... i am one of 3 people in the world who don't care for Glenn Ghoul....#1:he's a show off #2 i want to hear bach on "appropriate" (how i've come to hate that word) instruments...ie: a modern piano can re-interpret bach,but it bothers MY ear...priggish as that might sound...too romancic...had to invent that word...anyway ,i DID NOT dis ,since the music is still there,hidden in sluggish tempos...it's odd to me to see the # of views/listens this has v. the attempted authentic versions on this channel...but maybe i'm a snob...ha,ha...lots of reasons why one MAY dislike any music/interpretation...we're all different,right?

There are some people who think that Bach's music is so small and miniscule that it can only be appropriately performed on a period instrument. Thankfully they're wrong. The music of Bach and the other great composers is so rich and deep that it can be interpreted in countless different ways and still survive. Thinking that you can't play Bach on a modern piano is an insult to the music.

La musique pour moi est respiration " Je pleure si je ne suis pas côté d'Elle tout se fane elleest le PARFUM de ma vie depuis la entrailles de ma mère ' mon père " oui ' devant l'Éternel . Elle est cette Prière qui naît avec nous ce parfum qui est là depuis l'origine de la vie, elle est mon concept . Je vie avec elle . L' Abeille vie de miel et s'en nourrit. Jaså, er du fra Sverige . . .vel, jeg bør vel være hjelpsom for det. Du finner informasjonen i teksten: Nun Komm der Heiden Heiland, det er et koralforspill. Men vær oppmerksom på at det første stykket komponerte Bach for orgel.

volkomen absurd te (veronder)stellen dat Egorov een 'meesterpianist' was want dat is niet zo.Misschien voor een paar vriendjes uit de scene in Amsterdam maar daar buiten niet.Heb Egorov gehoord in een compleet Chopin-recital vele jaren geleden, conclusie?: beroerd.

dommage que vous soyez emprisonnée dans la forme physique élémentaire, c´est à dire aussi dans l´espace physique, et que le chant soit condamné avant l´impact d´ entrée, les effets de retards de mémoire étant trop violents, le tragique nous planifie à l´écoute. Les musiques ne sont pas d´ordre matériel, et l´âge n´excuse pas l´artiste, Bach Busoni Lipati sont morts, mais nous devons veiller sur la trace. Vous aussi, quoi qu´il arrive, ou non.

très chaleureux de votre part, mais ne parlions-nous pas musique, et spécialement de l´interprétation de madame Queffélec, que ce soit Bach ou Scarlatti ou Chopin ou Satie, et ne disions-nous pas que la musique devrait traverser les corps, tous les corps, tous?
