She’s the only royal I would watch on RU-vid. I think she’s a shining example to all, and her children and grandchildren are all lovely people too.

"Anne doesn't crave the limelight". How true this is, Princess Anne is a true example to young women of today. She is strong, she is funny, she is hard-working, and she is real. Absolutely admire this woman, through and through. From a Canadian :)

The fact that she doesn't understand that most of her classmates had no job prospects or way to advancement with Uni; is just crazy! As especially, as young woman!

I think you must be someone who did not live through this period of time . Less than 10 per cent of people went to University . Most well paid jobs and careers did not require this . Only since Tony Blair did education get extended . Most Pupils left at 16. and easily found jobs . You are judging 1960s footage with 2021 eyes .

@@lesleyriseam1282 Over the course of my working life I have met accountants, computer analysts, systems analysts, HR managers, nurses and so many more who were from the era you mention. None went to university because a) there was no need - they trained in-house and/or on day release or evening classes and b) the courses didn't then exist!. As you say, it is only in relatively recent times that there has been a push to get people into university and - sadly - into a level of debt that might not be necessary.

What a strong physical resemblance Zara has to her mother. I have wondered if Princess Anne takes after her father’s side in looks, she certainly does in temperament and nature. Charles looks like the historical photos of previous kings and princes but Princess Anne seems different. And with that nature, I doubt she would ever believe she is such a role model to so many people she will never know of or meet. She is a genuine inspiration.

Princess Anne is everything that Charles is not. She should be in Charles 's place. She is a real Princess and she would make a great Queen and I believe that British people would be a lot happier with her. I do not believe British are very happy with Charles and I do not see him with the Crown. I really do not trust Charles.

I agree w her!! There seems to be Something devious abt Charles!! If a man would treat the woman he supposedly loved and wanted to be the mother of his children and run the country by his side the way he treated Diana (no I know she was not perfect!) can NOT be trusted to be King.

No recent ones I’m afraid, but Brian Hoey has written several on her - two in the 1980s and one in the 1990s after her second marriage. ‘The Princess Royal’ by John Parker is a good one, as well as ‘Anne: The Working Princess’ by Paul James. She’s also written her own book, ‘Riding Through My Life’, which is heavily focused on her life as an equestrian but it’s a great read. They’re all at least 20 years old, but I’m sure they’re on Amazon!
