Your amazing song choices and your ability to bring them out in their purest rawest versions with your amazing raw gritty emotional vocals and stripped back acoustics. This is what I consider Gold.
I like how your cover is based off dijons live version of Annie! I also just did a cover but your raspy voice made yours sound so good! Thanks for introducing Dijon to me! I’ve been a big fan of your covers!!! ❤️
Idk but I'm having insomnia, and sometimes if i feel really hopeless I'll remember to go and listen to you sing and suddenly I just fall asleep so u kinda like saved my life .. sometimes like maybe 32%
this cover doesn’t have a capo which is a bit different to the 5th fret capo on the original but here are the chord shapes and allat for anyone wondering: capo 5th fret standard tuning verses Cmaj (01023x) hammer ons on D string and 3fret e string near end of bar Fmaj (x1233x) chorus Gmaj (bar3 334553) Am (bar5 555775) Fmaj (bar1 112331)
Hey mate, I just came back to Dijon after some time, would you mind sharing these chords? It feels you are in some other tuning, cause I can see a Am7 (Am7/E?) shape but mine sounds off, while the Gsus on 3rd and A7sus on 5th sounds okish.
c (the standard open one) f M7 (but played from the c position without the f on the low e string with the high e open) a minor (standard open one) e6 ( just an e chord bar on the third fret leaving the open e ringing, he does not play the low string) This a a cool song for a beginner singer song writer to learn!
Dude you gotta put up your original stuff on your RU-vid page, I was shocked to find you got so much original stuff, like I can't explain how much of a bigggg mistep it is to not have taken advantage of your RU-vid audience and post your singles on your channel, even just a the cover art and the song is fine, you don't need videos. Sorry if I sound rude but I just hate seeing talented artists losing out so many listeners from such small things. You don't want to just be branded as the cover guy. TBH if I was you I'd only post original stuff going forward and then come back to covers after a bit
