I was 12 also back then and I wore this tape out. I remember it snowed that year so we were out of school for a few days and I just was home listening to this album and listening to this song and watching the snow outside is one of my favorite memories forever

I'm a licensed mental health clinician in Nashville, TN. (and long time fan), this song has been recommended to many of my clients, even a 23 year old young client today, to "take this overcoat of shame, it never did belong to me". This song still makes me cry, today. For myself, and my clients I help. This song has helped many on their path of healing and having artistic permission to be free. I have just lost my baby last night & this song is helping me cope (as much as I can that is...) I had 2 copies of Annie Lennox DIVA as a child but only listened to what the mainstream radio had programmed me to which was "Walking On Broken Glass" & "Why" but I discovered this emotional masterpiece not more than 2 weeks ago & it was the first song I listened to after my devastating loss last night, Thank God for this song & Thank You Annie Lennox as well. While I had my baby these past 10 years my life was beautiful & even magical in every way... My Zubah was The Perfect Gift from God & I'll Always be eternally grateful & Thank God for our time together & cherish every memory of her as the best years of my life until I'm with her again in Heaven. 😻 R.I.P. Zubahrunt I can't wait to see you again in Heaven & I love you & will think of your face every second of every day until we are together again in Heaven, Your Zubah & I Love You!😻😽😺

How many times I've watched this video, its mesmerizing, deep, and sometimes It wells me up with tears. How many of those people knew who she was, or cared? Looks like a model, she is, could be someone famous, she is, had to work hard to get where she is, she did. She Gave so many of us music and song that touched our hearts in some way and manner, lifted our spirit, comforted our souls, made us cry and smile, such power the word music holds, such gift that we as humans can have by being musicians, and for those who do not share the skills and talents to be able to produce such, hopefully we are gifted enough to actually listen and hear, that in itself is a gift. Lastly I am so thankful for people like this lady and to have been around for and to hear such wondrous magic that sometimes we so take for granted, the magic of music. Thank you Annie...
