11 year old me in there, the whole stadium was crowded as hell, it was truly an experience that still to this day gives me chills. i always thank my mom's bf at the time (now he's my stepdad! yay) for taking us there that night.
Fun fact: After this show that stadium was closed for some time because during the AC/DC Show the buildings started to crack 12 blocks away....literally.
Not surprised - in '85 Bruce Springsteen had 127k fans (over two days) make Gothenburg's Ullevi football stadium swaying and cracking. They had to sink a pattern of an additional 101 concrete pillars down to bedrock (40-60m) down to stabilize/reinforce the foundations. Gothenburg is built in/on a swamp, originally with assistance by the Dutch.

ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VcGAScb_woY.html Video link above re quite, shy, humble Angus Young interview Did you know Angus . I was watching another interview where he said he mostly only canned out of his shell when he put the school unifying.
That crowd wasn't just jumping up and down together at once, they were adding the back up vocals from the album version that couldn't be achieved by the band live. The best crowd I've ever witnessed.
I've watched this concert so many times my child is 18 years old and has seen this several times and loves it as well it does span generations Angus is absolutely energetic as hell and makes everybody get to their feet but the energy in the crowd is unparalleled.
44 years old, now with wife and 2 kids, and I can proudly say "done that, lived that!!!" One of the best live shows rock band ever. They only one that can be in the same playing field is Iron Maiden! Loved both concerts!!
AC/DC has always put on a great show. I think that AMAZING crowd in Argentina kicked the band up to an even higher gear! Mad respect Argentina. Show us all how it's done!
I never get bored listening to people's first reactions ft AC/DC. The younger the better. But for a fourteen year old young woman! Brilliant! That just says that their music still rocks, and will still be relevant in another 50 years!🤘👹
I work at a sandwich shop, and the radio station we listen to likes to play AC/DC a lot. i have no complaints there at all. One day we had a family in the store, this song came on giving us the greatest and cutest experience ever. The family had a little boy no older than 5 years old. The father and son walked to our soda dispenser just as this song started. The next thing we hear is the little boy belting out "TNT"and the Oi Oi" part. Then when it came to the chorus, he steps out in front of us, he starts singing while doing the cutest rocker dance ever. He belts out loudly "Watch me explode." bows and says Thank you Lenny's. WE couldn't stop grinning and laughing while his parents were looking at us embarrassed until we started clapping. Then the little boy and his parents had huge smiles on their faces. When the song ended, the little boy sat down and did not say another word. Coolest kid ever!!!
When this concert was filmed in 2009 Angus Young (the lead guitarist without a top on, and the only remaining original member of the band) was 54 years old, and most of the band members were also in their 50's ... Brian Johnson was 62. In 2023 AC/DC will celebrate their 50th anniversary (And Angus will be 67 and Brian will be 75)
AC/DC Live At River Plate was recorded in Buenos Aires in December 2009 when nearly 200,000 fans (over 3 sold-out nights) thunderously welcomed AC/DC back after a 13-year absence from Argentina
Its amazing that Angus Young was almost 58 years old when this concert took place. He is in my opinion the greatest guitarist of all time. In their song "Let There Be Rock" Angus performs a 14 minute guitar solo that is out of this world.
I saw AC/DC on the Highway to Hell tour and Bon Scott one of the best unique voices in Rock! Sorely missed! I saw AC/DC on Back in Black in 1980 and For Those About to Rock We Salute You in 1981. Brian Johnson was the perfect fit for AC/DC after Bon passed. Brian was a unique voice just like Bon’s voice was unique. Love them both!
Who would got to an ACDC show in 2020? Saw them in 2009 which was awesome and 2015 and '15 was already boring af. Now Malcom is dead and Brian has some serious problems. They are just too old by now
Five singers Since AC/DC’s first performance in 1973, the band has gone through a various assortment of lineups. Five singers, seven bassists and eight drummers have played at least one show with the group.
Watching this video gives me chills. I have seen AC/DC for the first time 2010 in Austria with an audience of 100.000 people. The most epic moment i have ever seen in a concert was the end of the intro-cartoon. Fireworks on the whole stage, the video wall split in halfs and the train from the cartoon was on stage. Thanks for that video that let me remember that moment.
When you’re at their concert, you all become one. The sound is soooo loud and the vibrations run through you. Resistance is pointless. Best time of your life 🤙😎❤️
Set playback speed to .25 and watch the crowd "breathe"! You ask what is it about the synchronized crowd movement that so compelling? It 's being part of a larger organism. For a brief moment in time you are as big as that whole stadium.
Don't listen to the negative comments. I think it's so cool your sharing with your children real music and a part of you. They will cherish this more parents should take the time to do this. Well done and great music!
Remember AC/DC had been performing for 30 years before this concert in Buenos Aires. The only other concert to come close to this one was the INXS concert at Wembley Stadium in 1991. Another genius Aussie band.
Bon Scott was the best front man in the history of Rock and Roll. And the saddest loss. Brian Johnson filled his shoes admirably. Better than anyone else could. But Bon will always be remembered as THE Man.
I absolutely Love the chemistry between Father and Daughter here. If reaction video's facilitate this, society needs more of them. Annie might think that in the future, your favorite memories might be to seeing rock bands of Dads youth. I do not think it will be though, It will be sharing these reaction video with his Daughter. Nothing will be more special than the time he spends with her, ever.
Bon Scott played the bagpipes on the truck in their first video through the streets of Melbourne Australia. The song was 'its a long way to the top' circa 1972-3
Excelente producción, gracias por compartir y que sigan las Reacciones. Saludos desde Delicias, Chihuahua México (Edgar) y desde Los Ángeles CA, USA. (Arturo)
I saw and heard AC/DC when they did the Back In Black Tour. they ripped the roof off. I was deaf for two day, but it was all good, because everytime I had to ask someone to repeat themselves. I had the greatest excuse!! Stay Strong Decent People. Cheer's 🇬🇧
Ojala tengan la suerte de venir a presenciar un recital en vivo de rock ya sea nacional o internacional, como asi tambien un partido de futbol. La pasion es inigualable. Saludos desde Argentina.
I grew up as a total rocker! Shunned.. I do catering and lots of weddings believe it or not this is one of the most popular wedding songs ever.. Lol! So ironic I’m 50 now . People Love to dance to this now old people young people! It’s a fun one❤️
Her face when she saw that crowd. I would have liked to have seen it when she found it was like that _two nights in a row_ sold out. I saw the Highway to Hell, Back in Black, For Those About to Rock, and Fly on the Wall tour concerts. Believe me when I say I saw practically every big name rock/metal band or singer there was to see in the mid 70s to late 80s. Some I barely remember. But those 4 AC/DC concerts, and this is saying a LOT, were the Best. Shows. Ever. No doubt.
I was at the uk part of this tour. There were kids and grannies rocking at the front. River plate just looks on another level. First gig the final countdown tour Europe liverpool at 13 dragged my older cousin not stopped gigging since.
As an ACDC Fan (30 Years Old). I just love seeing kids react to what real music sounds like. Love the way u use this time with your daughter! Legit one of the best ways to spend time with ur kid. Can't wait for my kid to get old enough for me to do this with them.
