Hard noise is one of the hardest tunes to mix period. No drums or beat until till the drop and he still has the audacity to go for it. GOAT

i'm so grateful to be alive whilst drum and bass dominates in the way that it does

I'll always admire this mix and his audacity to do it live in the studio, when everyone else's 'mini-mixes' are pre-programmed and emailed into Annie.

I'm first and foremost a hip hop fan, but love my drum and bass. I've seen a heap of incredible turntablists including Q-Bert, Mix Master Mike, Craze, Roc Raida (and the original X-Ecutioners lineup), Jazzy Jeff, Z-Trip, Cut Chemist & DJ Shadow etc... etc... What Andy C does, whilst obviously very different, is every bit as amazing as the aforementioned names. His mixing is just ridiculous, and at least from what I've seen, unparalleled. The fucking don!

Soon as heart beat is dropped he's like 'yeah I'm all done now...' what a legendary DJ. Seen all the top boys but Andy just kills it. No better vibe.

I would just love to know if Andy ever gets on the pills like the rest of us I know factually he does ...

Andy C played at a huge house party I was at in Fallowfield Manchester in the mid 2000s. It was about 7 in the morning and the police turned up and told everyone to turn the music off. They then said actually F that and TURN IT UP and then walked out to a massive ovation. Sounds like it's a didn''t happen of the year but seriously it happened. There was probably 300 people at this party as the place had 10 bedrooms or something. Someone else had to be there?

It’s gonna really bug me, what’s that knob he’s always touching to the right of the volume faders? Cause usually I’d assume that’s where you’d choose the FX, but I can’t hear him using any so it’s really fried me why he’s touching it so much and I can’t hear anything changing

What I've always liked about Andy is how fast he mixes. Incredible.

I was looking at Andy's watch....I can't work out if it's a Tag, omega,breitling or a Rolex....it's definitely one of them..

I haven't heard of this, I know all about serato and traktor but still his mixing doesn't make sense in this. Really don't understand his random placements of when he starts a tune, and how he is selecting them ?

Am I the only one who noticed he clanged Nard Noize, and every other mix was a hairline off? I was surprised man, I thought in a 5-minute mix Andy C would have murdered that. Around 1999-2001 I never heard him him clang even in filthy raves with turntables shaking!

Ive been listening to this guy and all the british dnb djs for almost 20 years. What he does with his double drops and mixing that fast is not easy. He is hands down the most technically skilled DJ I have ever heard.

He's using traktor a8 hardware and software running through his laptop.
