the best video, I have a question, I have lorex system from costco, does annke nc400 compatible with lorex? I have 16ch NVR, but only come with 8 cameras, if I buy annke nc400 does it compatible? thank you very much
Thanks for a really useful video. Great sample clips, good to see what's in the box, and very helpful run-through of the web UI. You've got good production values, but please work on getting some expression into your voice -- the monotone voiceover makes it difficult to stay focused! Otherwise, good work!
@@Securitybros They advertise my FC200 as night vision but when I try to select it in the application it says the night mode is not supported and greyed out. Any ideas on a fix? Thanks again
Thanks. I've actually only tested one 5mp bullet WiFi camera which is the Techage. I have a review video of that camera. Not that impressive though. Another one is the Anran 5mp WiFi bullet Pan/Tilt camera if you are interested in a Pan/Tilt bullet.
Nice review. Nice to see another Hik OEM option. Do you know if the standard Hik firmware can be applied? My concern with OEM cameras is future firmware support.
@@Securitybros sure could have fooled me 🤔 I hate it when companies try and fool people like that. There was a Dahua OEM in Florida that tried to convince us that they weren’t a Dahua OEM too. Too bad their OUI was registered to Dahua and impossible to hide. My long term reason to avoid small manufacturers or OEMs is firmware support. We’ve all seen the exploits and vulnerabilities of cameras and recorders in the past, so future support is critical for me. Even if the camera is a few dollars more to buy, the long term support is worth it.
@@jondilly1974 It's Hik OEM and Annke know it, too much of a coincidence that both the OSD and the Web GUI are identical to Hik, and it looks oddly similar to the latest TurboHD ColorVu cameras.
