TH items for Farmers/Workers/Artisans: Actor, any Minimum Working age books, any Captains of Industry books + any specialists that provide stuff (like the Actor), Dennis Brammen, Archibald the Bishop etc. But I mostly use these on my secondary islands so I don't have to produce beer there for example (saves a lot of hassle). Or the Governess which provides school. Also I've noticed you didn't place a Variety Theatre, but it can fit somewhere. Or simply by using Very Senior Lecturer.
Thanks man and those are some excellent choices! And yes theres no variety yet but i didnt include it as it doesnt provide any workforce, ofcourse it makes sence to use one tho if you want! It has good range so you can place it basically anywhere next to the center
Hey, as a beginner I really appreciated this video so much. Can you please do an updated version for engineers or let me know how I could best change it to fit engineers?
this layout sucks as its not 100% coverage the corners will not upgrade they are not at 100% even though it may look like it at quick glance. when you check them they will be 95ish % not 100 so cant upgrade them, either need to add more buildings or move or delete. cant do engineer with it either as stated, cant get electricity they need to it very easily unless you have a few on 1 side only limited electric run.
Can’t wait to get the pc back from the shop. I would, however, use two blocks of trees for each side of the double train tracks. Smoke rising from that green belt would look amazing! Great content, btw. Please keep it up! Cheers! Mihai
If you do this, with dirt roads, the 3 corner blocks in each corner are out of range of marketplace and pub, so you can never upgrade them, if you do this with paved streets, only the 1 corner block is out of range and you can never upgrade them, paved roads is way to expensive early game.
Thats because this Layout should also supply you with farmer workforce, if you want to upgrade all houses either use stone roads or place more marketplaces on the sides.
Well if you supply your citizens with all the want/need that will also decrease the risk of incidents. Otherwise just build some more firestations, they are very cheap anyways ;)
Love your content. It helped me a lot with planning. One question. You left place for tracks so I assume there will be some power plants inside of the city? Where you would put them?
Thanks man i love hearing that! That really depends on how much coverage you want, but if you just built one or two of those i would just put them right next to the marketplace directly on the opposite side of the university

@@basedcontentcreator Exactly. I tried now to have some main street, with walking alley through city center. Have some restaurants on this street, and nice looking market. But it was possible only because I decided it on the start. Unfortunatelly any expansion equals removing some buildings. So most likelly I should plan it somehow from the beggining. Waiting for this sandbox mode so I could experiment with some layouts that will leave place parks, walking alleys amd so on
