I'm digging these layouts, but I find using the edges of the islands and along mountains a great way to spread your fields and maintain the city in the middle. One hell of an island to do all wheat/flour/bread though. Keep them coming... :)

Thanks makes me happy to hear they are beeing enjoyed! :) And yes using the edges of the islands and filling them with fields is definetly the best way to use the island and also the prettiest! I just love these rectengular designs bc they are just so neat and easy to expand

So what is the difference between this layout and the layout from Anno Fandom? Fandom layout seems to be a little bit more efficient because of maximizing tiles usage, but generally they are same

how is if with fire protection? Can firefighters reach wheat farms? I am just starting playing anno 1800 so not sure how wheat farms are susceptible to fire. Or can they reach wheat farms through mills?
