This week I made One Piece tuna meatballs made by Sanji, Jujutsu Kaisen ginger green onion chicken meatball soup, Tokyo Ghoul sizzling hamburg steak with red wine sauce, The Way of the House Husband (Gokushufudou) beef croquette sandwiches.

I can see these meatballs being served with tooth picks for party food, or in a subway sandwich for a filling lunch or picnic! Yumm!
INGREDIENTS (makes 10 meatballs):
This recipe is the adjusted/better recipe from the video
MEATBALL
- (0.5kg or 1lb) 1 tuna steak
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (or 1/4 a large orange)
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 tablespoon sake
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- (3 pinches of salt for me) salt and pepper both to taste
- 1 beaten egg
- 3 tablespoon corn starch
SAUCE
- 25g onion
- 25g red pepper
- 25g green pepper
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar (or any vinegar)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 cup orange juice (1 large orange)
- 1 teaspoon hondashi amzn.to/3dBl3pt
- 3 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- salt and pepper
EXTRAS
- canola, vegetable, or any flavorless oil for frying
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Chop the tuna into fine pieces so round meatballs can be made.
2. Mix all the ingredients for the meatball with the tuna, shape into rounds (should make 10) and freeze for 30 minutes before frying to keep it's shape.
3. Deep fry the meatballs for exactly 3 minutes at 350F canola oil or any flavorless oil.
4. Make the sauce by heating up a pan and sautéing onions in 1/2 tablespoon of oil until translucent (~2 minutes) then add the green and red peppers. Sautee for another 2 minutes on medium heat then add vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, orange juice mixture (dissolve hondashi and cornstarch into the orange juice), ketchup, salt and pepper. Simmer until thick, around ~3 minutes.
5. Toss the meatball into the sauce and it's done!
