I’m looking forward to this event! I started following you and Anthony last year during SWTM event and I’m really looking forward to getting to participate this year!
I am looking forward to my first Summer with the Masters! I plan on doing the Girl with a Peal Earring. Simply one of my favorite paintings of all time. The kit I have already bought and is waiting on my stash shelf is the Diamond Dotz canvas.
This will be my first event ever. I’m super stoked. I’ve ordered two kits from JGS that qualify. I can’t wait to begin. Thank you for hosting this event!
This is going to be my first event. I have been doing diamond painting in an off/on way since 2020, but I have gotten into them more this spring. I will be working on the Guardian Angel picture from 1900 postcards - unknown (for sure) artist. This picture was hanging over my bed for most of my life, and then passed down to my daughters, but we lost it in one of our moves, so I am very happy to be recreating it. We will be traveling for the whole of June and July, so I don't know if I will be able to watch the weekly videos on the day they come out (or if they are live), so I hope that doesn't disqualify me. I just found the DP community a couple months ago, so I am excited to try this out.
I just saw this video and I am excited about this opportunity! I am currently working on a DAC canvas, "Beautiful Hummingbird" by Peggy Collins but I just happened to also buy "Cafe Terrace at Night" by Vincent van Gogh painted in 1888. I may have to put Hummingbird aside so I can participate with you all this summer.
Of course I will be back for my second year! I will pick up where I left off last year with my cross stitch conversion of Alexandre Cabanel's Fallen Angel. Hoping for an Angel-off this year, now that Jade has her version out 😄
I definitely plan on participating. I’m trying to find the date for the painting I chose, but am having difficulty finding it. I reached out to the company because the artist is definitely from the the right time frame and it’s a reputable company. I’m hoping to hear back in time.
I love the idea of the gift cards being the prizes so no one is left out. Also I'm glad you guys are tailoring it to what works for your lives and schedules. Can't wait to join!
This will be my very first SWTM!!!! I’m excited to be a part of it. Not 100% sure what I’m going to work on yet, I need to do a little searching. Sounds like a really neat event and I’m excited to see other’s paintings, that’s always my favorite part about an event!! Thanks so much to you and Anthony for hosting!!!!
I order my Summer with the Masters kit in November so that I wouldn't put it off and run out of time to get the one I wanted. I know I would otherwise, lol. I'll be doing "Tick Tack" by Briton Riviere from Jaded Gem Shop. 🙂
this will be my first time doing an event like this, but i was planning to join and work on Ophelia by John Everett Millais. really don’t know what i was thinking with the size of the canvas i got 😅 but it will be an adventure 😊💖✨
I'm looking forward to this event! I started diamond painting this year, and have been binge watching all of your videos! I initially didn't see myself getting into the masters art work, but my mind quickly changed when I saw Alphonse Mucha works! I bought "Night's Rest" from Jaded Gem Shop and am anxiously waiting for it.
I really like your setup this year, scaled down and streamlined!! I love the gift cards so everyone can be involved from around the world! I am doing The Soul of the Rose by John William Waterhouse... I bought it last year, but had too many WIPS going at the time. Looking forward to this event with you and Anthony.
I was inspired to order a custom from Jaded Gem shop after a visit to the Toledo Museum of Art. Saw a special temporary exhibit of Caravaggio's work. I am glad that Summer with the Masters doesn't require new starts or finishes as I am not a fast diamond painter. About how long after you fill out Jaded's form until you see mock ups of sizes and prices?
I’m so excited to participate. 🤩I’m likely going to be doing DAC- Seasons (Winter 1896) by Alphonse Mucha and it will be a fresh start (I recognize that a new start isn’t required). I’m kitting it up today to get ready for tomorrow 6/1/24🎉💞
Hi Katie! I love this event…this is one of my fav genres!! So looking forward to it! I plan to do Flaming June by Frederic Lord Leighton. I’m feeling all the orange….! Thanks for the video! 💜🐶💎🖼️
Yay, I have this planned for my second event, super excite! I love old art and am so happy your making this international resident friendly. I may have missed it, but what are the canvas size requirements?
I have 2 kits maybe 3, need to check dates...think all qualify. The 3rd kit has iffy drills so not sure if I want to use that one as I would be spending lots of time drill picking instead of placing. I have had a busy personal life so far in 2024 and missed multiple events so hoping I can make this one work. Take care
I gave following SWTM for about 3 years but finally gad the funds to actually get a kit. I have two that ordered from Jaded Gem Shop "The Library" by Auguste Toulmoue and "Psyche Entering Cupids Garden". I am so excited for event.
I wasn't planning on participating due to my budgetm but I've recently seen old masters' kits appearing in our local Northern European shops! I have seen a total of maybe 10 different kits EVER in my area, so it's exciting to see diamond paintings appear on shelves more often :) And I'd feel a bit remiss if I spent my summer working at a museum and *didnt* participate in Summer with the Masters haha
Hiya @DiamondsandWashi. I had a question about the event, is a cropped old masters image okay? There's one on JGS I really like and would love to do for the event but I actually prefer a cropped version Jade has on offer.
I’d love to join this event (for the first time ever)… I do have a curiosity question however; would any art piece from Salvador Dalí be eligible? And if so, would you point me to any company that sells licensed diamond art kits for his work? Thank you 😊
Is Diamond Painting Pro a company I can use and do they do licensed art work?? It’s hard to tell based off the info from their site? I found a picture I’d love to do… I’ve wanted to do for awhile and I’ve seen it everywhere (stolen) but i need a licensed one
