This is sad. Straight DECEPTION!“Leaders” saying it’s ok. As an Ex Member of Delta Sigma Theta YOU DO TAKE OATHS, YOU COMMIT YOURSELF TO RITUALS, YOU BOW DOWN TO ALTARS, and COMMIT YOUR LIFE TO THE ORGS. How can you sit up and say “I’m a Kappa until I die and I love Kappa” but I love God

If you are Christian….you cannot be a member of a sorority or fraternity. I denounced delta sigma theta after being a member for 5 years. Your soul is on the line!!!! Come out while you can! Please!

None of these arguments were really compelling. You can’t have a true conversation about Christianity and Greek life without addressing the rituals and hazing.

Please address the oaths, rituals, initiations that so many ppl talk about who were in these organizations in the next viseo? Just because he didn't experience a ritual doesn't mean it's a "misconception". It very much happens. Pledging is taking an oath, no?

I think to balance the convo you also needed someone who has denounced to speak on their experiences…. I have no affiliations and have only seen information on this topic in passing. Unlike you both, I have no bias…. So the information that is out there , stating that the initiation decree is like a covenant with vows etc…. & some of those covenants sound like ritualistic witchcraft. And this is just surface level things I’ve seen in passing…. I don’t have much insight or interest but I do think this episode is extremely biased in a way that pacifies and perpetuates a narrative without truly seeking to unveil truth. Disclaimer: I’m only 14 minutes into the episode so hopefully it unfolds….. but I think there should be a part 2 with people of opposing views.

One of the ministers at my church in Maryland denounced his fraternity after being very active for years. Some say that part of the problem is the oath that people who pledge sororities and fraternities take. I joined a grad chapter, but haven't been active for a long time.

We cannot get closer to God without first giving up things that are separating us from Him. It is flawed theology to believe that "God wants me happy, kappa makes me happy, kappa is pleasing to God".

I would love to hear from those that have denounced. I remember a time I wanted to pledge because of wanting sisters and a community and God was like "you'll never fit in" and He allowed me to experience it lol. Everytime I would try I ended up taking a semester off due to financial aid.

May both your eyes be opened. May the Lord give you revelation. Every Greek frat/sorority has a deity they bow to in the oath process. Ex: Delta Sigma Theta bow to “Minerva” it’s literally signing covenant. You can’t serve two masters. Just because you go to church, ur Dad is a pastor and you post about God on social media does not indicate walking in spirit and in truth. As Papa Lo has said, “Ignorance is not a defense in the spirit!”

Oh wow. I love this topic. I felt the need to denounce…but also wondering if I just didn’t have an understanding since I had just begun my walk w Christ. Ohhhh , that’s who “speed kills”, during PAPA’s LIVES!!!

I felt it was a good topic to discuss yet barely revealing the cover of this topic. Like anything built by man with good intentions, it can go completely astray. Things can start positive and go super left, which happens on a lot of Great 8/Divine 9 college campuses. There are a lot of positive and complete horror stories with frats which cause them to be banned on a lot of American campuses of Higher Learning. I suggest bringing women into this conversation as well. Those who had both good and bad experiences. Bless you JT

Christians must be Christ-like (Like Christ). Would Jesus be a member of the divine 9? (Colossians 3) We have a duty as CHRISTIANS to feast on God's word DAILY and LIVE by it so that we can Put on the Full Armor of God and stand against the Devil’s Schemes! (Ephesians 6:10-18)

The level of deception is real. This organization is their religion. It has religious elements, characteristics and attributes. A religion has disciples. A religion has a god or gods. A religion has a liturgy or order of doing things operation when members or disciples that meet in honor of those gods and worship their god(s). A religion has hymns that give praise to their gods. A religion has prayer. A religion has members financially contributing towards its operation. Answer me this, doesn’t Kappa Alpha Psi meet all of these criteria? Disciples = members of Kappa Alpha Psi God(s) = The Greek god of Apollo is worshipped by its members Religious Altar = Apollo is worshipped at the altar of Kappa Alpha Psi (unknowingly and out of ignorance but still at fault or responsible) which is the Sacred Delphic Shrine (per their membership ritual.) When members take this oaths they have now entered into a spiritual covenant with Apollo (who is a demonic fallen angel that actually exists). Members are blindfolded, participate in chants while candles are lit and the actual Bible is read. Prayer = The Kappa Alpha Psi Prayer Hymnal = The Kappa Alpha Psi Hym, The Kappa Alpha Psi Song(s) Tithes/Offerings = Membership dues/Life Membership dues Religious food (i.e. wine and crackers) = food dedicated to the gods of Kappa Alpha Psi during the ritual. If this is only a fraternity for community service, then why do you have a hymn, a ritual, a god(s) and your own prayer?? And this is a Christian organization?? This is idolatry at its height! Repent today before it’s too late. You are all cursed until you denounce and renounce this wickedness. But you don’t even know it.
