Pardon is not for the past its for the future, a person who's convicted of a crime should be pardon first before running any public govt. Position. Sen. Robin was pardon before he run for public office, not run then pardon.

Agree. There was a Jurisprudence on this. Presidential Pardon cannot be retroactive, and only apply for future events. In the case of RP he hasn't run for Senator when the Pardon was given, not the case for the Tulfos as both of them are currently in power. That's the biggest difference.

Atty Trixie made a serious blunder regarding her interpretation on pardon. Dapat magcomment man lang si atty pero tahimik kapag nagkakamali "Malinaw na sinabi ng SC "A pardon looks to the future. It is not retrospective"... So sa kaso ni raffy tulfo...kung mabigyan ng pardon, ang effect nito ay applicable sa susunod nyang pagtakabo sa election at bale wala ito sa nakaraang election kung saan si raffy ay convicted ng libel at hindi pa lagpas sa 5 year prescriptive period.

Di naman lalaki ang pension na matatanggap ko kahit kumita ang Maharlika, pero kapag nalugi ang Maharlika, pension ko ang nakataya. No to Maharlika Fund. Hanap na lang kayo ng ibang source, yun willing. Kung garantisadong walang lugi dahil sagot ng government, di naman siguro kayo mahihirapan maghanap ng negosyanteng friends nyo.
