Hi there - thanks for chiming in. It's a good question and frankly, I don't do math either but logically, I would presume that it would be possible only after determining the subject's distance from the camera. This is why so many people require triangulation before taking these captures to heart. Take care!

​@@LatchkeyHustle Agree with both points. The issue is without a second point of view or knowing the size it's not possible to give a meaningful answer. However if the distant object is known (size/speed) like a helicopter and the other thing is in front of that you can set a range of size/speeds based upon the camera's known frame rate, usually 30/60 frames per second. Although we must also consider that videos from RU-vid might not be considered pure sources as there is video-data-compression that happens during the uploading process. I have calculated from my own filmed footage of a not-bug flying at a known to me location/distance travelling in excess of 60 mph, the fastest bug is a dragonfly (irony) at 35mph, this is an area with few bugs, none seen while filming and occurred within 30 seconds of starting the video capture. It's doing my own filming & calculations convinced me of this phenomena is real. What I might suggest John is setting up a test situation (is that pool background real - I can't tell these days) with a length of fishing line to which you attach an inch long thing, a six inch long block and maybe one two feet long, black polystyrene of something. Then secure that in a location and film using your normal non-bug filming camera against a light coloured background (yes, you should be reading these words with an English accent) so it might act as a baseline to compare against. Film the string of samples at six feet, 24', 50', 100' etc distant would quickly show (my conjecture) that the smaller "bug" would simply not be captured at anything less than the closest filming distance.

That's a great question but it also calls for significant speculation on my part. Thus, I will share the first two thoughts I had upon reading your comment. (1) If your generation had become accustomed to the phenomena, it would be widely accepted by this point. (2) Those who reached adulthood in the 1970s like yourself were the first generation to be fully affected by Project Bluebook and the government-controlled narrative. Hi there, thanks for sharing that consideration. I think they mimic our technology as well as our terrestrial biology. I think drones, kites, animals....everything is in play and on the table. At least that's how I view it as of now.

I think you are partially correct in terms of the size. I think they are generally that small but I also have evidence where they are clearly going behind aircraft and are obviously much larger. Take a look at our presentation called "UFOs in Los Angeles CA" from 3 months ago as well as the few videos that were posted thereafter. I think you will see what I am referring to if you watch those. I also agree that these subjects have been around and on camera for decades and like you, I question why they have not been talked about more. There was a local news segment out of Denver, Colorado in 2012 that focused on these. I will try to post that next Saturday. Thanks for your time and consideration - take care.
