My husband worked there in Uganda for five years as a computer Engr. People there are good and educated. They have the best coffee as well. I always tell him to bring some everytime he goes home for a month vacation.

Uganda is one of the best places to live n raise a family. Everything is cheap. I have stayed there from Oct 2004 to Dec2007. Ugandans are gentle. The country is really a best place to settle n retire if you want a simple life to live. Thier culture is tribal and very easy to live with. Politics? Barely non-existent. It has a parliamentary form of govt. Members of Parliament administers districts. Its President Museveni has been presiding the country since late 1980. Many Pinoys are residents there esp in Kampala d capital since 1980s cuz Pinoy engineers were hired to help rebuild n reconstruct its destroyed infrastructures after a civil war after Idi Amin was thrown out into exile to Saudi Arabia. Princess Vi nindot kaayo imong blog. Its very inspiring. I hope by now you have developed close relations with Filipinos in Kampala. I have lived in Ishaka n Kampala continuously from 2004 to 2007. I miss very much my friends there esp the weekend tigbakay n the parties during birthdays n Christmas season there.
