It's not debt forgiveness, it's debt transference to the rest of us to pay off. And when the 'student's finally get jobs they will wonder why their taxes are so high, probably not.

I am very happy for these people. They were not treated fairly by congress who changed the agreement midway. Just like our social security. Congress borrowed from its reserves and never paid it back.
@@user-fr5zv6gh9q because as consumers they were ripped off by predatory loans from for profit colleges and universities and many did not receive their degrees. Many were vets coming back from Afghanistan and Iran. Congress allowed their grants to not be renewed which in turn made their interest rates go up. They couldn’t catch up, always behind the eight ball. 60 Minutes did a whole story about schools like Phoenix University - for profit…not education. They preyed on veterans big time. After all was said and done many had no degree, not career with which to pay it back, don’t forget the housing collapse of 2008. Many would have been out of work too. Read up on what happened before assuming they were deadbeats. They weren’t. They were scammed by the system.
